I'm missing my mom today. She died in October of 2010 of pancreatic cancer. This morning I was reading old emails she sent. Most are just talking about her day, but this is my favorite and it still makes me chuckle:

I haven't been this happily excited about something since I don't know when! 12 hours of being lost in history will be a calming balm.
