Kun Teemu Keskisarja suolsi rasistisia juttuja A-Studiossa, poliisi ei aloittanut esitutkintaa, koska heidän mukaansa poliitikkojen provosoivatkin näkemykset nauttivat laajaa sananvapauden suojaa.
Jostain syystä se sama logiikka ei pätenyt Pinja Vuorisen kohdalla.

Kun Teemu Keskisarja suolsi rasistisia juttuja A-Studiossa, poliisi ei aloittanut esitutkintaa, koska heidän mukaansa poliitikkojen provosoivatkin näkemykset nauttivat laajaa sananvapauden suojaa.

Kaikkiaan Neuvostoliittoon meni yli 30 000 suomalaista, kolmena isona aaltona. Noin 12 000 punaista pakeni keväällä 1918, osapuilleen 15 000 pulaloikkaria (joukossa pari sataa muilutettua) lähti 30-luvun alussa, ja samoihin aikoihin 5 000–6 000 suomalaista muutti USA:sta ja Kanadasta.

FYI: turning off "Smart features" also turns off spell check and the promotions and social tabs. And more.
In effect, a lot of traditional tools in gmail are switched off if you don't let them upload your contracts, love notes, and sad messages to your friends into their plagiarism machine.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

I wrote this thread as a response to the common enough opinion that #nuclear power is too heavily regulated and should be deregulated.
I think it is a red herring, and there are good reasons for the regulation. Including investment risk mitigation!

I disagree. There probably are some ways to streamline the regulation, but whenever I've asked what exact regulations are the problem and how they should be amended, the answers are <crickets>. Or suggestions that reveal the responder doesn't really know what he's talking about.
