How awful. This is outright health disinformation, lying to the American people. Not only is there massive evidence showing no link between vaccines & autism, there’s not even a plausible mechanism based on what we’ve learned about the genetics of autism, some environmental exposures in pregnancy
HEADS UP: CDC website now officially asserts that vaccines may cause autism.“Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities.” Also says the “vaccines do not cause autism” header remains b/c of an agreement with Cassidy.

I am lucky to have known her and am forever grateful for her advocacy. She was a true champion for disability justice.

A budget is a moral document. We are witnessing America's decay. We've always struggled and will always struggle to do the best by our communities, but this is an abomination. As constituents we need to raise our voices. Democracy requires our engagement at the ballot box and well beyond.

RFK Jr.‘s extreme anti-vax views — and his related conflicts of interest — were a huge problem during his confirmation process.

So he promised not to change the vaccine advisory panel.

Today, he fired every single expert on that panel. It's a public health disaster.

When Americans raised concerns about RFK Jr.'s anti-vaccine views, he said he was "not gonna take away vaccines from anybody."

But now he's taking them away from millions of mommas and babies.

Vaccine recommendations should be based on science, not RFK Jr.'s political agenda.

None of these men are legitimate scientists. This is not “good science.”

COVID doubled death rates in pregnancy pre-vaccine, and mountains of evidence show COVID causes worse outcomes for mom & baby. Evidence also shows vaccination has no adverse effects on pregnancy or baby but does protect them.
Kennedy, Makary, and Bhattacharya announced on X that they are pulling recommendations for Covid vaccines. They will no longer be part of the childhood vaccination schedule, and they're no longer recommended for pregnant people.

There's a process for changing recs. It's not posting a video on X.

All these people are eugenicists who want anyone with health problems to die in order to purify the human race. That millions of people support this is deeply disturbing and does not bode well for where our society is heading (hint it rhymes with Yahtzee)
Now it's your fault if you get sick?
Dr. Oz: 'It's your patriotic duty to take care of yourself. Healthy people don't consume healthcare resources.'

Dom has said it more clearly than I ever could and is 100% correct.
What nondisabled people are missing is beyond the fact that this is ugly and false, it’s completely in line with the eugenicist playbook. Convince the public that “these people” live sad, unproductive lives, that we need to eradicate this “disease,” and then eventually, eradicate the people.

The ACA is cool because insurers can't use the presence of a pre-existing health condition to deny you coverage, increase premiums or impose waiting periods.
Figured I’d hop on here today for the 15th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act.

With everything going on right now, it’s easy to feel like regular folks can’t make a difference – but the ACA is a reminder that change is possible when we fight for progress.
