Antisocial behaviour can drive people to desperate measures when landlords persistently fail to deal with it, backing them into a corner.

Tough at the Top?

A look at why failing leadership in social housing keeps repeating — and why residents are the ones left carrying the cost. Accountability can’t be optional when homes are unsafe and trust is broken.

Almost 2,000 views — and rising.

The Regulator’s verdict on #GreenSquareAccord has clearly hit a nerve. From the messages I’ve had, many agree but don’t feel safe saying it publicly — which says everything about the culture.

#GreenSquareAccord are holding a “resident surgery”:

You shouldn't need a booked slot to meet your housing officer — you should know them.

Most residents are at work. If everyone turned up, they couldn’t see them anyway.

This isn’t engagement. It’s PR to tick a box.

Awaab’s Law says residents can take legal action over damp and mould.

But when a mum like Hollie Monks ends up in hospital and is still told her home is “safe”, it shows the problem:

A right you can’t afford to use isn’t protection — it’s theatre.

'For emergency hazards, an investigation and the work to fix the problem must take place within 24 hours of the landlord becoming aware of the issue.
If they don't - tenants can take legal action.'

Tenants shouldn't have to take legal action.

Govt admits it’ll never meet its affordable housing target — and now wants to “incentivise” developers to dig.

But were developers really holding fire for more incentives? Or is it skills, red tape, or just profit margins?
