Hello Bluesky!

I’m Hope, an #artist aspiring to find a home and community. I’ll be primarily posting #art about my oc’s and fan oc’s. Expect Final Fantasy XIV, Magical Girls and whatever else I may ramble or make.

Much of her story surrounds her connections to Angelus/the Red Dragon from Drakengard 1 and Aera Mirus Fleuret + Lunafreya Nox Fleuret from Final Fantasy XV. These connections are known as Attunities, and basically act as past lives for her. She’s canonically fictionkin, in short. Her Echo allows her to compel people to tell the truth so she uses it to get people to talk about their life stories and deepest secrets, compiling them in books known as Records. her story is one of zealotry; faith to a bloodstained cause. about stories and how we compose our own stories, how memories fail and complete us, the way the past reaches forwards to haunt and comfort us. about the price of bloodshed - when it is justified and when it is not. Above all, it is of passion, of love under will. She wants to see the world, in all its bright and brutal glory. Her partners are Emet-Selch, Ardyn Izunia and Gladiolus Amicitia! I've modified the story of FFXIV to more aptly explore the connections and divergencies that a fuller connection to XV would bring. Art by marudyne! The lizard woman stands with blood dripping from her claws, a snarl across her beautiful face. She's decorated in the Type-53 Halfrobe of Casting. Beside her is a description: "In love and in violence, I'll know this world."— "A draconic priestess trained to hunt for secrets and stories throughout the world. When Hydaelyn granted her the Blessing of LIght, none could predict the way she would change the world in her pursuit, or the strange company she would come to keep, ranging from a prince apparent of another world to a high-ranking diplomat of Thavnair. Her outrageous feats and brutal amounts of determination, chasing her goals to the ends of the star, have made her infamous. After saving the world countless times over with her deeds, she has founded her own city-state on the First, ruled by herself and her strange pack of partners." A picture of an iceberg. At her feet, autumn leaves, Lunar Tears from Nier Replicant and sylleblossoms from Final Fantasy 15 blow. Angelus is colored in the same gradient as the Drakengard logo, and the Pact-Mark is colored a bloody red. Together, the two form a blend of Final Fantasy and Drakengard elements in every sense — befitting for the crossover nature of the canon. Next to the Pact-Mark is an underline title in the mainline Final Fantasy font: "LISCANON".

I know all the various defenses of piracy, and can agree with some of them (preservation is important!) but when it comes to books, there really ain't any excuse I buy. More than any other medium, authors directly rely on royalties from purchases. Every purchase gets them income, even from big pubs.

I seriously need to find time to go back to this project 'cause it's been over a year now...
