Worldly and weary, but not world weary.

Notice: MAGA Nazis will be met with creative and overwhelming vulgarities. Please do not mistake this response as prejudice. Just my lack of respect for Nazis.

No law, varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives, shall take effect, until an election of Representatives shall have intervened.

Karoline Leavitt wasn't wearing her crucifix today.

Did it finally start to burn when she tried to put it on?

@deanobeidallah.bsky.social

You remember who else knew about child abuse and did nothing? The Catholic Church and Boy Scouts of America.

What happened to them?

Bankruptcy, trials, jail & shame from which they are still recovering from.

They are actually trying to be better! Trump isn't.
This is MUCH WORSE than Watergate. The Trump Epstein scandal involves raping children. And we know Trump was fully aware of what Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were doing. Trump should RESIGN!

This is what America needed in the 1930s, and if we are to survive the Oligarch's Parasite caused collapse, we need it now.
81 years ago, FDR proposed a second Bill of Rights to guarantee every American the right to employment, healthcare, education, housing, and a living income. His words are as relevant now as they were then. Watch.

Republicans once again see that taking hostages is a great strategy.

Dems didn't even get out ahead and say "We are dealing with psychopaths, and see that they are willing to hurt all of you for tax cuts. So we're going to stop them hurting you until we can get the psychos out"
An agreement to agree to do a later vote is NOT an enforceable contract so what in the actual hell are Americans getting out of this deal??
November 10, 2025 at 3:26 PM
Just this morning I said "The only way Dems can lose this standoff is to cave"

And Chuck Schumer must have taken that as permission.

When people feel like you're not up to the moment, they won't choose you, no matter how bad the alternative.

Oh, the things we could do if we had un bribable leaders.
EU investing €546 billion for high speed rail by 2040

E.g. Lisbon to Warsaw, from 38 hours today to 12 hours

Pricing to compete with low cost flights

Reduce emissions by 80%

Jokes on them, they don't have Brexit sovereignty 🤷‍♂️

was his dog whistle of "Let me run again or you'll all lose In 28.

It helps to be prepared instead of waiting for the federal government to destroy state governance and then try to react.

We need proactive state legislatures.
Soft secession. Blue states building parallel systems, withholding cooperation, and creating facts on the ground that render federal authority meaningless within their borders.

“Without state cooperation, much of the federal government’s agenda becomes unenforceable.”
It’s Time for Americans to Start Talking About “Soft Secession”
Blue states are finally learning what red states have known all along: you don’t need federal permission to govern.

I propose that every flight of a jet that takes 1hr or less is taxed $5000.

2hrs or less $2500

It won't stop the Billionaires from using jets as limos, but the millions per day could go toward better public transport for the rest of us.

Not that I need more books, but when I can't help myself I get them from small shops and sites like this.
Amazon is helping fund a $300 million build of a ballroom for the White House.

Independent bookstores are donating to food banks and organizations that help with food insecurity.

They are not the same.

When SNAP runs out.

Take the protests to the nearest Walmart.

They sell crap food to SNAP recipients, and they pay their employees so little they need SNAP.

If he's not sleeping, then he's got plenty of time to keep up with what Trump is doing.

In those lonely wee hours of the morning maybe pick up a paper so you don't have to be ignorant of the things it's your job to know about.

Uh, quick question.

What needs to happen before people stop saying "we're headed towards"

What does he need to do that he hasn't already done?

We're there folks. Unite behind those who realize it and have a plan.
Threatening to arrest governors for seditious conspiracy. Getting dark fast.

Listen folks, there's not going to be a point when Trumpers suddenly change their minds. Even if their children starve.

The Jonestown cult knew that the Flavor Aid was poisoned. They knew and they still gave it to their kids and drank it themselves even as others were falling all around them.

The two-story East Wing was added to the White House in 1942 primarily to cover the construction of an underground bunker, now known as the Presidential Emergency Operations Center.

This is the underground bunker of the White House.

There is effectively no secure emergency operations bunker now.

The contractors and other firms who are doing the work should be brought up on criminal charges.

They know it wasn't done legally.
The White House is asking people not to share pictures of the East Wing because it’s even worse today.

This is an excellent example of legislative oversight. A function of checks & balances

A legislator investigating potential corruption and agency activities which could be subject to potential new laws which would force action by an agency.

New developments in my 3 year Epstein investigation, this time regarding JP Morgan Chase and its CEO, Jamie Dimon. This is a long thread, but worth sticking around for.

It's important to note that not only do millions rely on non-profits, but there are another couple of million Americans who are employed by non-profits.

If the government picks winners in the non-profit sector that's also going to drive up unemployment and drive down wages.
