reminds me of the time i missed one payment on my health insurance due to a new debit card. i was never contacted. they cancelled my plan after 1 month & didn't tell me. they had no trouble keeping my endo-colonoscopy procedure even though i was no longer a member OR covered.
A friend just had her checking account wiped out by her family's new health insurance premium (which went from $890 a month to $2800). The thing is, she'd cancelled the policy in early December, assuming it would also cancel the autopay.
