I feel like I've got early rogue hayfever trying to come out (I got it in Nov one year) so I'm actually going to keep the chatter minimal. If I feel better later I might reply/interact.

Just so you all don't get confused, I've set my profile/posts to not be visible for logged out users for a while.

Likewise I've modified how my deviations are displayed on dA. They are currently low-quality, & w/ dA's watermark, for as long I feel like it.

I decided to add a 'border' to the Toon Zelda/Link one because I'm pretty sure it crops strangely...So, I apologize for that, but I hope it still looks okay! 🥲

Image (Art): This is a sketch done traditionally with colour added digitally, featuring Medli from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker game. It features Medli flying in the sky alongside a seagull done in soft colours. I also included a frame around the two of them using colours from Medli's sash and her Sacred Harp as inspiration. I'll do a digital version at some point and fix up a few things. I also used a pose for reference by AdorkaStock. || Artist: yesbutterfly. Image: (Art) This is a traditional sketch that I drew, and then scanned in (cleaned up a bit) and added colour to digitally. It features Fi from Skyward Sword, sitting on top of the Master Sword pedestal holding out her arm with a Chirri (bird) perched on her hand. There's also a second Chirri on the ground as well. With a couple of Blessed Butterflies in the background too. I also drew some bushes behind the pedestal off to the side and various plant growth starting to grow from below the stone ground. I also attempted to draw a frame that would be a stained glass window, but because I'm a bit dumb, I actually drew her a bit too far down, and then couldn't actually put the frame in properly anyway, so that's probably going to be moved or omitted in the digital version. I also included a few gears at the top of the frame that are supposed to reference the gate of time. I was also going with the idea of this maybe being like an illustration in a book with text off to the side, which is why I decided to try to go with a frame like this. || Artist: yesbutterfly. It features Toon Zelda and Toon Link from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, with the two of them trying to work out where to go next, although Link seems more confused and is pointing at a map whilst looking back around at Zelda, whilst she seems to be trying to work out the problem. As for the map he's holding if you can work it out...well more power to you! Since I just made it random! The background features my (failed,lol) attempt at attempting to replicate the simple version of the map based on an official piece of art, with a few important items scattered around the border, such as a letter, royal engineer's certificate, a piece of heart, hearts, rupees, the compass of light, force gems, the stamp book, some stamps, and a key. Image (Art): This is a traditional sketch with colour added digitally, featuring the antagonist Agahnim from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. I wanted to draw him looking imposing and smug, so I went with a pose for him where he has his head slightly angled upwards so you can see his full face (I'm sorry), with a sneer on his face. He also has one of his hands raised with the fingers curled in a menacing manner like he's probably giving some sort of evil monologue, or he's going to cast a spell. The piece itself mostly consists of red from the sky (and Agahnim's robes) with orange/yellow tones from the sun in the background, and I attempted to use this push myself to do a bit of dramatic lighting. He's supposed to be in a room simular to the one that he's fought in, so I included some pillars and did a pattern around the 'windows' in order to make them more interesting, and so it was obvious where the window ledge is. For the scenery outside, I just decided to keep it simple with the shape of hills & trees in the background, and the Pyramid of Power as a reference to his second fight and The Dark World... I don't know it's just supposed to look dramatic! I might change a few things when I eventually get around to doing a full digital piece (and fix up a few things), but I'm happy with how it turned out! || Artist: yesbutterfly. Okay, slight bonus "Cursed WIP 5", this one is in the very early stages of lineart being done, but I do remember that this one was being a bit annoying. I use a small wacom intous tablet which I've had for about 12+yrs, so trying to do long strokes is a nightmare...😬 I was also adjusting stuff...

Image (Art): This is a cropped screenshot of an unfinished work in progress (WIP) of a digital art piece that I was working on, featuring KOS-MOS once again, this time with her "Seahorse" Design, as I was planning on doing all of them. She is standing there looking off to the side with her arm outstretched. This one references a pose by @/AdorkaStock. As I stated above, this one is in the early stages of me doing the lineart, so there's a lot of additional lines - and stuff that I still need to erase and redo. To be honest this piece was also kinda doing my head in, due to having to draw her 'skeleton' underneath her 'outer body shell' ...which sounds really weird to write. This is why I put a blue colour in where she is transparent. Annoying I suddenly realized that I had to redraw certain areas and/or adjust them, like I can see I'm going to have to adjust her outstretched arm and her other one too some more...However, I believe at the time I was attempting to fix her hair up, and it was just being a nightmare at the worst possible time since I had just finished the KOS-MOS to the point she is in the quoted post below this, and IRL stuff happened. So I decided to take a (yearly) break from working on her... Anyway, that's enough of my rambling...Like with the other one I'll try to get back to this someday. Hopefully with fresh eyes and motivation I can now finish her! And maybe work on her other designs. Ah, like before there's some noise and an annoying texture over the top of this too. || Artist: yesbutterfly. Okay, I was a little bit off for the year for this "Third Cursed WIP" going by their file dates... But at the time I decided I wanted to do Toon versions of Peachette and my designs for the variations of Rosalina and Daisy. Unfortunately, I never got around to finishing them due to IRL stuff. 💔

Image (Art): This is a screenshot of an old unfinished piece of digital artwork that I was working on from 2020. It features "Toon" versions of Peachette, and my designs for "-ette" versions of Daisy and Rosalina - which are the older versions of the designs that I actually updated in 2023. They each have their own unique poses, with Peachette in the Middle, Daisy's one to her left (Your Right), and Rosalina's one to the right (Your Left). Peachette is standing there with her hand raised near her face like she's laughing or amazed at something. "Daisette" is leaning forwards slightly doing a semi-peace sign with her right hand while her other one rests on her hip as she winks. Whilst "Rosette" is hovering in mind air, with her eyes closed and smiling, she is also holding her star wand. The background features a gradient checkerboard (blue/pink/yellow) with a white border. I have tossed some filters over the screenshot, which features noise and a stripe pattern just to be obnoxious for various reasons. There's also a bit of shading that I started on Daisy's one, but at the time - since they're all separate files, I was working on putting them together in one piece to work out if there was anything I needed to adjust before committing to the colouring stage....unfortunately I stopped working on them due to IRL issues...Maybe I'll revisit this someday instead with their updated designs. || Artist: yesbutterfly. Here's a second "cursed WIP" from around July 2025, which I've cropped this time. I was working on this around the same time as Muffet's one, so a lot of my energy was spent on that instead... 😅 idk, I'm just not really in the mood atm to finish off her wings and sort out a few other things.

Image (Art): This is a screenshot of a digital piece of art that I was working on last year (2025) around July which remains unfinished for now. This is a cropped version of the art with noise and junk over the top of it, and I decided to make the colours a bit more faded/softer. It features Cirno from Touhou Project. I wanted to redraw her official art from "Phantasmagoria of Flower View" at a slightly different angle, which features her with one arm outstretched with her hand on her hip. For my version I decided to draw her arm/hand raised above her head, and seeing as I'm drawing her more in my style I decided to add a few more details to her design too. I actually got stuck deciding what to do for the background, which for this has a purple-pink tone to it for a bit of contrast and to add blue over the top with snowflakes included (in fact you can still see one of my silly rough markers in this, lol.) I was also toying with the idea of adding a few cedar trees, mountains and a semi-starry sky - or maybe one of those 'circular' star constellation type things if that makes sense? But at the time I wasn't sure how to do it. Something else that isn't pictured her is, I did actually end up adding some ice crystals at the bottom, but I don't like them. So...this piece remains in "progress hell." Maybe someday I'll be able to finish it...and adjust her face...just a little bit. || Artist: yesbutterfly. Up first for the 'cursed WIPs' batch here's one from two years ago... 🫠 I dunno what's blocking me from finishing this one. I was really happy with how she was coming out, and then all of a sudden I kinda lost the motivation, maybe it was just simply stress...2024 wasn't going great for me...😔

Image (Art): This is a screencap I took of a piece of digital art that I was working on two years ago (2024) which has been sitting on my laptop unfinished. It features Valentina from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, drawn in my style whilst keeping certain aspects of her original features. It's a basic pose with her standing there with one hand on her hip, with the other one raised like she's waving it to one side/or monitoring to something with a snobby attitude kinda thing. She's also got a slight smirk to her face, and I tried to get an expression in her eyes like she's looking down on you. I also decided to give her dress more details, and included a small belt as an addition which would have her fan attached to the bottom of it (these are roughly drawn in.) Her bracelet is transparent because I was redrawing that and her arm/hand at the time...and I was also trying to decide what to do for her Parrot friend on her head; either doing a 'feathery' to its wings or leaving them smooth. As for the background, I was going to do a more 'detailed' one using aspects of Nimbus Land or her battle, but I couldn't get it right, so I just slapped a basic one on there whilst I worked on the aspects I mentioned before. So its just a blue box, with a frame, and the shape of a crescent moon. As I said above, I don't know what is blocking my motivation with this one...I mean I like it!
