Image: A digital fanart illustration of the character Muffet from the video game Undertale. This is a redraw of an earlier piece that I did way back in 2016, which I started a couple of months ago, and decided that I would post it for Undertale's 10th Anniversary! I had a lot of fun drawing Muffet again, and it was actually a lot of fun thinking about how I could incorporate certain elements that were present in the original into the new piece! Including working out how I would draw her 'now', since the original piece showed her from the back as I was unsure of how to draw her clothing, but I just decided to do whatever and combine ideas whilst drawing her in her battle sprite pose, just at a slightly different angle. As such she is standing at a 3/4 angle, holding her teacups and teapots (as she does in her battle sprite pose) - the two cups being held in her top two hands, the teapots in her middle two, and her final pair being down at her sides. I decided to surround her with spiderwebs and spiders, on a checkered background, which slightly fades into dark around the edges. Within the spider webs I also drew some Spider Donuts, alongside including a plate with a donut and croissant, with two more of the latter near the plate. As mentioned before, a lot of these elements were in my original piece, so I decided to include them, but change it up a bit such as adding more variation to the webs (long strands/broken strands) and more spiders - doing various things. I also decided to include the "Up Next Spider" since I wasn't sure whether to include my original Spider Bake Sale signpost but ultimately decided to change it. I also included the Player's Heart/Frisk being entangled in a web which Muffet is looking up at smugly. Also this is "Version A", since I've also done two additional versions with slightly different colours in them which I'll share at some point. Anyway, I'm not sure what else to put here, I will probably come back and tweak a few things here and the… Image: A piece of digital fanart that I did of Princess Peach based on that stained glass window in Super Mario 64. This is actually a redraw of a piece I did in 2016. Instead of her being shown side profile, Peach is instead looking towards the viewer with a sweet expression on her face and her hands clasped together. I also drew the roses more realistic compared to the original stained glass version, and tried to keep most of the elements and colours the same. For the background I also included a brick wall which I added a bit of texture to, alongside rose and leaf embellishes with hearts at the top and bottom on each side. Overall I spent a lot of time working on this trying out different things, and to this very day I still remember the ordeal with the lace.... || Artist: yesbutterfly (Image tags, included for clarity for the subject: #supermario #nintendo #fanart #princesspeach #peach #digitalart ) Image: This is a piece of fanart of Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy. It is a waist up sketch featuring Rosalina who is smiling warmly at the nearby Luma. This is a traditional sketch which I've added colour to digitally, just to make it look a bit more interesting. For example, I also decided to include a circle for the background behind Rosalina and the Luma, which features a purple-pink gradient to make it look like space; I even added a few sparkles here and there to make it look like stars. I also used the default Star brush from GIMP around the edge of the circle (small in size) in a white opaque overlay, and within the circle itself (which are a bit larger and are of a lighter opaque.) It's actually been quite a while since I drew Rosalina, so I just left this as a basic quick sketch. I was going to base it on her new amiibo figure's artwork, because I absolutely adore her expression in that piece of art (and I really hope that Nintendo releases the image in full) but I thought I'd just keep it simple....since her shoulders and the top bit of her dress was causing me a bit of grief. I still don't think its totally correct, but I'll sort it out (along with a couple of other things I've noticed) when I eventually get around to doing a digital version... || Artist: yesbutterfly (Image tags, included for clarity for the subject: #supermario #supermariogalaxy #nintendo #fanart #rosalina #sketch) Image: A piece of cross-over fanart which I did in 2024, featuring Yumetaro from the video game Gimmick! I called this piece "Star Friends" as I believe that they would actually make good friends, Kirby is on his warp star looking at Yumetaro who is waving happily from his own star; which he can create himself to ride on. The two are surrounded by stars, alongside a couple of clouds to indicate they are airborn. (Art 1/3) This is a traditional sketch that I did of the Fairy Queen from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, which I added colour to digitally. I'm planning to do a digital version sometime, along with the other two. As this is the first one I did, it has a similar background to the other two, except the background is a light-ish pink tone rather than white. The shape behind the character is also more square, but still features a slight gradient. It also features the same idea of having two sets of diagonal lines, this time one on (your) top left corner and the bottom right. There is a slight texture, but unlike the other two I added stars to this one. The character also has a slight outline too. - yesbutterfly. (Art 2/3) A traditional sketch (with colour added digitally just to make it a bit more interesting) of Adeleine from Kirby64: The Crystal Shards looking towards the viewer holding her paintbrush and palette. This is a mini-revisit attempt working towards someday (maybe) redoing an older piece, which I originally did of her and Ribbon as a result of me playing Star Allies. I just mostly wanted to keep the sketch simple, but cleaning it up and even adding colour to it was a trial this time for whatever reason, so I've just done what I can with it for now. Forgot to extend the colour of the sock on her left leg but ah well...I'm a bit happier with how she's turned out - maybe someday I'll also be able to get her legs the right length....lol... For some reason her sketch was a bit easier to work with than Adeleine's...idk...I guess it was just me at the time. Latest Piece || A piece of fanart that I did of Muffet from Undertale. This is a redraw of an earlier piece that I did in 2016, Muffet is in the center of the image drawn similarly to her battle sprite pose, surronded by webs and spiders. The purple heart that references the player/Frisk is trapped in some of the webs as she looks at it with a slight smirk on her face. I also included some donuts, croissants, and the little spider that holds a sign up in battle as a reference to her battle and certain aspects surrounding her. Recent Sketch || A piece of fanart that I did of the unnamed Fairy Queen of Ripple Star from Kirby64: The Crystal Shards. It's just a basic waist up sketch done in my style. Old Piece from 2024 | A piece of crossover fanart featuring Yumetaro from the video game Gimmick! by Sunsoft and Kirby from Hal Laboratory Inc's/Nintendo's titular series. They are both on stars in a dreamy sky type background waving at each other. An even Older Piece I still love || This was done in 2018 under my 'cakeyrin' alias on deviantART, and despite it being quite old and I've noticed quite a few mistakes I still remember the amount of work I put into it. It is a piece of fanart featuring Pauline and was done whilst I was playing one of the Mario vs. Donkey Kong games (Mini-Land Mayhem!) She is looking towards the viewer smiling as she holds her own Mini-Pauline figure in its capsule, as confetti rains down. Part of one of the parks/attractions is in the background too.

A screenshot of my art program GIMP, but not the latest one. It *just* /*has*/ to be GIMP 2.8 first released in 2012 (May4th) because it's 2025... :) || No, the context behind that is you can only open files created by the GIMP program you first created the file with. So I can't open files I created in 2.8 in 3.0 for example. This may have changed with later versions....but eh...idk, and I'd rather not mess up my current work flow. || An illustration I did as a gift for a friend's birthday. It's his OC Candy! A piece of crossover fanart featuring Yumetaro from the video game Gimmick! (by Sunsoft) and Kirby! A traditional sketch (with colour added digitally) I did of 'Classic' Princess Zelda in the Toon style of Wind Waker. This is actually a really old-ish sketch that I did a couple of years ago, I forgot to get rid of one of the construction lines for her arm but I still really like it :'D // Veran from Oracle of Ages. A piece of fanart that I did of the PPGs in an anime style whilst still drawing inspiration from their original cartoon appearance!

This is an character design reference illustration of my KirbyOC from the front, side and back, which uses the sketches that I did/started in 2024, I just very slightly updated it to how I have been drawing her recently. (Which is making her look a little bit more 'plushy' I guess.) For further context if this is your first time seeing her she is an alien whose species somewhat resembles sheep, but she's probably a hybrid creature anyway (because alien + sheep sorta thing.) For the moment I've left her eyes (and eyelashes) more or less how I originally drew them for the sketch, despite drawing them a little bit different now. However, the 'rule' I personally go by when drawing her eyes is that they double as her expressions, seeing as she doesn't have any eyebrows; so they constantly change anyway. At some point I'll release some additional design notes about certain things, but in the meantime, if you are curious about how her head covering/hood thing works, go and look at the images of the Princess of Moonbrooke from Dragon Quest II. Now, onward to go work out her 'height' which should be 2 and a half Kirby's tall, but I'm starting to doubt myself....and I'm starting to find that I really don't care about it as such, lol. An digital illustration of my OC/Kirby OC Lumina in response to a "Draw your OC like this" type of thing, in this case the original image was of Fred Flintstone from The Flintstones sitting at the table holding a piece of meat with a stern/unimpressed look (well that's how I always took that expression.) So we have Lumina looking really unimpressed at the table eating...I don't know who offended her but it probably wasn't a good idea.... Screenshot of a Bluesky post in which a user (Angel) suggests that we "Draw our OC like this", which is a quote repost by another user (Travis Bickerstaff) who posted a picture (screencap) from the cartoon The Flintstones featuring Fred Flintstone sitting at the table holding a piece of meat that he's currently eating. He has a stern/unimpressed expression on his face (again, that's how I always took that expression...). Obviously I can't quote a quote, so I took a screencap of the post for context reasons (and in case the original post was deleted - hope it was okay to do that - if either of you want me to erase the user names at some point please tell me!)

(2023 & 2018) I mean, as well, for some strange reason I've never been fond of Adeleine&Ribbon's art piece...but then again thinking back on it, I suppose that was the year that a pet of mine passed away...(whilst I was working on it), and for Pauline I just want to sort a few things out...so idk.

(2015s/2016-2017s) So, instead of focusing on purely revisiting some of these pieces, I'm actually just considering that maybe it would be best to just draw some of these characters again without even associating them with attempting to redraw a previous piece (since I'm stuck/art blocked on them.)
(2015)This is a digital illustration that I did featuring Chibiusa in her Dark Lady clothing with Neo Queen Serenity. It was called 'Unconditional Love' due to her mother still loving her despite the stuff that she did. (2016) An illustration I did of Neo Queen Serenity which now I think about it was done for a PaigeeWorld.com event (a now defunct art site). I was trying to do unsuccessful hair fluff/volume. nvm. lol. It was a good attempt at the time. (2016) an illustration of Meredy and Quickie from Tales of Eternia. (2017) an illustration that I did of Rukia from the anime(/manga) Bleach. I never finished that anime. lol. Got to episode 300-and something.

(2016/17)There are a few pieces of art that I've wanted to redraw over the years, but annoyingly despite wanting to revisit them I don't actually have any ideas of 'how I want to draw them *now*'. So I'm slightly stuck on what to do with them. 🫠
