This is how I think punctuation marks would react to you misusing them:

Period: "You absolute donkey. Get out of here."
Semicolon: "How DARE you! Never touch me again!"
Colon: "Come on man, not cool."
Comma: "I really wish you wouldn't, but I get it."
Em Dash: "Anything you want baby, abuse me."

I was not immune to this hype and I’m ever so glad I jumped onboard, what a marvelous read it still haunts me

“The story provides a lovely reflection on the grounding nature of mundane details, and how little things can come to mean so much when one has lived a life defined by war."

Thank you very much @acwise.bsky.social for reviewing "The Significance Cofactor," it's an honor as always!

My elevator pitch for “The Significance Cofactor” is an episode of Bluey but with body snatching, time travel, space travel, war commentary, and gray ethics. Please enjoy!

My story, “The Significance Cofactor,” is now available to listen and read at @khoreo.bsky.social! Huge thank you to the talented @cyrusrodas.bsky.social for giving my morally gray narrator a voice, the narration sounds incredible!

Your children love you. They cry as you leave with promises of souvenirs. You need to catch your flight. Ah, but their runny faces as you get in the car—I do not look.  You’re raising them well. The g...

Thank you for such a marvelously written review! I’m so glad NEV resonated with you :)
Bold structure. Vivid imagery. Really, really big ideas. @hhpak.bsky.social’s intricate, heartfelt “Never Eaten Vegetables” in @clarkesworldmagazine.com swings for the bleachers, hitting moons out of orbit and into that dark empty place we try to call home. Great.

The imagery and poetic rhythm of this one feels like a children’s rhyme being chanted underwater. The premise is really fun to scratch: hey what if you believed in God so hard you became one?

A story of much needed perseverance and glorious hope, may this be a reflection of our future.

New story is officially out! I hope you all enjoy this one! :D
In "The Significance Cofactor” by @hhpak.bsky.social, a father bumbles his way through family domesticities on his way to the airport. His children do not know that he is not their father at all, but a stranger with a gruesome past, hard-earned advice, and a primal longing for a stolen life.

Props to my eight grade student who angrily said that if Dr. Jekyll wanted to be a good person so badly, he should have just been a better friend or donated to charity instead of taking a shortcut. Based.

<3 So much love to my fellow co-editor!! There are many excellent candidates for the Astounding, but the intrepid @tiatashiro.bsky.social (in her second year of eligibility!) is highly deserving! The satisfaction of her plots and meticulous world building will leave you breathless.
@hhpak.bsky.social is a fellow Wyrmhole editor with a stunning control over emotion in their work. They're in their first year of eligibility, but I'll jump the gun and say their novelette "Never Eaten Vegetables," which came out this January, lives in my head rent-free. It's a stunner!

New story dropping in @khoreo.bsky.social in a week! Here’s an out of context mood board to get hyped

Thank you for the shoutout! I second your enthusiasm for @angelaliu.bsky.social, the range and quality of her work is incredible! Aquarium of Lost Souls is also a favorite of mine! @pelagicnatasha.bsky.social always hits it out of the park with her dark and clever style.
@hhpak.bsky.social writes a lot of stories about loss, and they’re all great. “Scalp” and “Twenty-Four Hours” were very good reads, and I’ll go ahead and spoil next year’s list by saying “Never Eaten Vegetables” will be there

I've been throwing The Lottery at my 6th-8th grade students hoping it'll germinate in their little brains and bloom at some ripe time.
