It's the Trump-kind of cowards who dodged the draft for Vietnam, or who have not served when they had the opportunity, who bang the war drums the loudest. Those of us who served - the true 1% - know better.
It really is amazing to listen to a guy who faked bone spurs to avoid serving in the military denigrate combat veterans of our allies while also using “we” when referencing the historical sacrifices and bravery of our own soldiers.

Cynically, DeLauro issued blistering statements against ICE, then negotiated the ICE funding deal, then personally voted against it, then celebrated with Republicans after passage. She's 82, represents Yale, and has a primary challenger.
