My dreams have finally, after several years, returned to just being plain old weird.

- A contest of love in Oaxaca where if your synchronized swimming wasn't good enough, people would pelt you with uncooked wieners
- An animation schoolmate turning out to be a Bigfoot hunter

It seems to me that if you're going to write a deep think piece about how politics, activism, and culture on the whole are becoming less literate, then you need to ensure your pithy examples are things that actually are comparable to one another. Otherwise, are you not contributing to the problem?

Now MIND YOU I think there's just a loneliness crisis happening in general? I don't think it's just men who feel isolated but don't know how to go about making friends and community? But it really doesn't help that the social role assigned to men is one that kinda derides deep friendship

SOOooo kinda thinking about visiting Norway next summer. I'd probably have 5 days to see the sights. Fjords and hiking would be priorities for me. Anybody been there or from there? Any thoughts?

A friend invited me to play wheelchair basketball today & altho I'm bad at basketball in general, it was a good time! Wheelchairs are shockingly intuitive to use (tho I guess sports chairs are lighter/easier to handle, which makes sense). My fave was when everyone stopped bothering to keep score c:

A friend invited me to play wheelchair basketball today & altho I'm bad at basketball in general, it was a good time! Wheelchairs are shockingly intuitive to use (tho I guess sports chairs are lighter/easier to handle, which makes sense). My fave was when everyone stopped bothering to keep score c:
