I think it's okay to hold extreme views when those views are about helping people in need. People should be guaranteed food, shelter and income so they can live their lives with dignity. We have the resources to provide this unconditionally; they aren't leveraged because of myth, not practicality.

Homeless people are not the enemy.
They can’t “just try harder” their way into housing.
It’s the system that’s failing.
Most of us are one emergency away from being homeless ourselves.
We need affordable housing, universal basic income, healthcare & social supports.
We need a safety net
