I can see the airport from my apartment, but it’s several miles away, and I never heard airplanes. Now I hear them a couple times an hour.
Things are fine.

I was in such a pissy mood before that workout. And now I feel much better. Yay endorphins and adrenaline.

I definitely have fallen behind on my goal the last few days, but 14,000 words is a lot closer to 18,000 by Day 9 of #nanowrimo than 0.
Got 1800+ words in, so I’m still a few hundred ahead of goal. And lots of questions to answer! So that’s fun.
Ngl day 3 is a little more challenging than Days 1 and 2, which were overachiever days. Having a full day of work, two gym sessions (1 short, 1 normal), some tarot class work in the evening, and dinner with my boo means the 1400/2000 words left will be done while fighting a food coma.

I did teeth whitening today for the first and probably last time since I have sensitive teeth (more sensitive than I realized). I feel like my teeth are trying to eat me from within as a payback.

It’s that time of the year when going to bed at 9 PM seems totally reasonable. And no, it’s not because 9 o’clock is my old 10 o’clock today. I’m in Arizona, so 9 o’clock is still 9 o’clock. It’s just dark as fuck.

Day 1 of my daily word count goal for NaNoWriMo? Success!

I don’t know what I’m writing or where this scene came from or is going considering what I had been writing the past two days in preparation, but it was fun! And it builds from questions I asked myself after an opening scene “prewrite.”

First shirtless postworkout photo since surgery recovery? Maybe? The workout was so rough after a few rough workouts since Sunday.

Working off some (10 lbs of?) fluff while adding back some (5 lbs?) muscle, but starting to feel more normal! Feels good.

Second photo has a little #jocktober peekaboo

worth applying to politics as well. when you're criticizing an action people take "taking the better action next time" is only one of the alternatives people will consider, and worth remembering that "not bothering at all" is another.
I think about this a lot.
