RAMASWAMY: We expect mass reductions. We expect certain agencies to be deleted outright.

Trump only cares about people who can vote for him and people who can give him money. And he doesn’t need your vote anymore, peasant.
In recent weeks, the “Make America Healthy Again” flock has grown skeptical of the Trump Administration. A clean-farming advocate called a bill to shield pesticide manufacturers from lawsuits “the most enormous slap in the face to MAHA.”
Will the MAHA Moms Turn on Trump?
A leaked draft of a White House report on how to “Make Our Children Healthy Again” suggests that the Administration will do little to address food safety or nutrition.

Mental health conditions, like suicides & overdoses, are the leading underlying causes of maternal deaths in the US.
Antidepressants save women's lives—& they're safe.
So why is RFKJr's FDA hell-bent on undermining their use among pregnant & postpartum moms?

MAGA is comfortable tossing around pejorative’s like “moron,” “idiot,” and “retard.” It’s an early conditioning to dehumanize people with (perceived or real) disabilities similar to “aliens,” and “enemies of the state.” And it’s a tactic that was used in the ‘30s. @ruthbenghiat.bsky.social

Something for every bookie in here
I’ve seen two authors post about being done with publishing this week and it breaks my heart. And I know I’ve certainly been struggling to sell books with everything of late - most of us have.

So please, if you’d like, tell us about your book in this thread and let’s get some traction going! ⬇️

I’m at the (George) McGovern Library digging thru archives. Most surprising find? His book on the Ludlow massacre of coal miners was adapted for the big screen but wasn’t made. The 1980’s was a rejection of social justice battles but 2025 seems like a perfect time to finally make that movie!

I can. It describe how much I love that it is Cory who will end that 24 hour racist rant
Cory Booker has held the Senate floor for 17 hours and 21 minutes.

The record of 24 hours and 18 minutes is held by segregationist Strom Thurmond, who spent that time protesting the Civil Rights Act of 1957.

I am pretty sure Booker would not mind changing that history.

Senator Cory Booker is only a few hours away from breaking Strom Thurmond's record for the longest speech on the Senate floor (24 hours and 18 minutes).

Every single Democratic Senator needs to be like Senator Michael Bennet out there helping Cory with his filibuster!

Come on, Cory!!!!!
