Ok so life update I got very busy; work was intense for a bit, I picked up some old hobbies, and I started learning how to drive.
This weekend I finished up the base engine code, now onto rendering (just OpenGL for now). Only a couple major items left after that and I can start making a game!

My current project at work has not ended but all the major work is done so I've had more energy to code at home. Been doing more Zig and I think I get it now. I think in a few weeks I'll have a super basic game engine that uses ECS. Luckily I've already 100%'d Silksong 😅
Been learning Zig and damn do I love it. It's quite different to what I'm used to, but I'm getting there. Once I finish my current project I might make a simple game engine and post a couple YouTube videos about it

I have realized that the reason none of this ever sticks (beyond ADHD) is because I legit want to make my own engine but I don't like the language I keep trying to use (C++). I've been experimenting with other languages and I'm having a blast. Big things coming (in like 5 years)...
