Less likely to also turn right.

Welcome to my annual long-ass thread of Super Bowl facts, insight, explanations, trivia, jokes, etc.. I am eating meatballs and cheese and am waiting for the edible to hit, so buckle up. I pre-wrote a ton of tweets (I hate “skeet”), so I will do all that first. Then I will look up at the TV.

Halftime is when the local commercials start.

Niche comment - but how did Mike Morse include (obvious) references to Super Mario and the LIMU EMU

I sat down to read this article in the paper this morning when the news came out about Vonn's crash today.

She is an amazing athlete and this article does a great job of articulating it
Lindsey Vonn knew almost as soon as she crashed that she was going to race at the Olympics.
Now that she’s completed her training run showing no signs of her torn ACL, about time everyone else joins in the belief.
Lindsey Vonn believes in herself. About time everyone else does, too
Lindsey Vonn proved she can ski on a torn ACL, finishing the Olympic downhill training run in Cortina with no issues.

Watching the parallel giant slalom and I am not sure which was a better experience:

The Italian woman who won a medal and was sobbing nearly uncontrollably.

The Austrian man who won and then promptly ripped off his shirt.

I loathed my alarm more than normal this morning. I was in middle of a dream where I was helping my grandma (passed 10yrs ago) purchase a fountain soda from a Sheetz. She was trying to use exact change, couldn't see the coins that well. I kept one of the coins because it had our name on it.

I was supposed to be off today but instead am working.

There has been ample chaos and items loaded on my plate and nobody I work with would get my reference of:
a man is talking on a cell phone in a store and says `` i 'm not even supposed to be here today ''

It is pretty impressive that the cost of my windshield replacement happens to line up, to the dollar, with what my deductible is.
