Removing a monument honoring Black US soldiers has nothing to do with DEI. It’s erasure of history and it’s straight-up racism.

I'd be willing to bet that, in fact, the woman "looks her best" when she's "doing things that make [her] happy"! Makeup & all the rest are peddled by capitalists to make profits by convincing women (& men) that they are necessary to "look my best". Lies, but then it's all you can expect from them.

True! Wiping out inconvenient history & creating false historical narratives is standard fascist practice. It is also, unfortunately, also true of capitalism in general - just look at the treatment of slavery & the genocide of Native Americans in your schools' history books.
A couple years ago I worked on 12 grants in my role as a task force director at the Library of Congress. This year, zero. We are going to lose a lot of our public memory. Which is at the crux of fascistic mobilization.

Yep! They had the same idea when workers took over Paris & created the Commune in 1871 - it was one of the reasons they were massacred. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris_C... If Mandami were really a "commie", he'd be organizing for a New York Commune.

LOL! I realized long ago, that if I wanted to always be able to eat what I like, I'd best learn how to prepare it. So, as my tastes & druthers widened, so did my skills, the number of cookbooks on my kitchen shelf & the clutter of once-exotic tools on my counters. Have fun!
The restaurant where I order my poke bowl changed their ingredients and upped the price. So I get less fresh food, more ultra processed crap, AND I have to pay more for that 🙄

So fine, I bought everything I need to make them now because fuck that shit

Like $25 for a rice bowl like come on

My dad was a vet; he fought the Nazis in WWII. I honor him for that. But let's not forget, modern wars are started by those making foreign policy: capitalists & the politicians & experts they pay for. The wars are for their profits & soldiers are cannon fodder - made clear by the neglect of vets!

LOL, Al-Sharaa is probably giving him a cut of this year's opium harvest. You can bet your ass, ever-grifting Trump is getting something out it!
Trump said 'he's had a rough past! He was the leader of Al Qaeda. The GOP spent the past weeks using Islamophobic rhetoric to fear-monger about Mamdani in NYC as DJT welcomes former al-Qaeda commander Ahmed al-Sharaa, previously on the U.S. terrorism blacklist to the @whitehouse-47.bsky.social 😡😤

It's a capitalist system, pesticides increase harvests & profits. Agribusiness doesn't give a shit about the consequences for either farmworkers or consumers. It's been this way for YEARS. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qub4... Don't like it? Fight to change the system.

"Profit over people" = Standard Operating Procedure in capitalism. You don't like it? Start thinking about getting rid of it and exploring alternatives. There are many, to almost every aspect of society that capitalists have reorganized for their own benefit, folks are producing other ways of doing.
Never forget that the airlines were instrumental in reducing the Covid isolation requirements and paid time off.

Why? It was hurting their profits.

They were about to lose money again due to the shutdown… so the Dems caved.

Medicaid & ACA will be gone to keep airlines happy.

Profit over people.

The fucking World Cup is not about sports, it's about making money by sponsors, construction industries, etc. and about screwing everyone locally who gets in the way. The history of displacing people & animals & killing protesters is appalling.
Trump has threatened to bomb or invade 7 countries with a shot to play in the 2026 World Cup. He *has* bombed one (Iran) and said he'd deny them visas. He's preparing for war with another (Venezuela). He has summarily executed citizens from at least 3. He has imposed tariffs on nearly all of them.
FIFA head says 'you will see' at World Cup draw if Trump receives new peace prize
FIFA has announced the creation of a peace prize, which it plans to award for the first time at the World Cup draw on Dec. 5 in Washington.

As long as the meat industry proliferates its lies about the necessity of eating meat to be healthy, it's gonna remain an uphill battle. Need to have those lies not only exposed but legally banned, like other misleading claims about food.
Overdoses & suicides aside, everyone I know who is dead died of diseases that almost certainly could have been prevented w a healthy plant based diet, yet everyone claims to know of someone who went vegan & nearly died 🤦‍♀️
Please, people. Think more critically. Yours & the animals’ lives depend on it.

"disintegrate" is too weak a word. They fall in line to profit from fascism. They always have! Read & learn: Tim Mason, Social Policy in the Third Reich (1993) & D. Peukert, Inside Nazis Germany: Conformity, Opposition, and Racism in Everyday Life, 1982.
From government departments targeted by Doge to CBS to now the BBC, we are seeing liberal institutions are not capable of putting up *any* resistance to fascism.

They disintegrate at the lightest touch from a fascist.

If they knew better, they'd want more than "a new leader"! They'd want to purge the entire party of all the MF'ers who have sold their souls to capitalists & been complicit with screwing the rest of us. But then they don't know better because the history of the structure has been hidden.
80% of Democratic voters want a new leader in the Senate.

Does that matter at all to Democratic senators?

To anyone who has been paying attention, and clearly all too few have been, or being bought-off by Zionists have ignored it, all this has been obvious FOR YEARS! The only way you can perpetrate GENOCIDE is with the complicity of soldiers & others who do the killing.

No, Bernie, it was NOT a "good night" & it WAS "a very, very bad vote". But what did you expect? Those who voted with the Republicans sold their souls long ago, like MOST in both "houses" of the legislative branch. Sold to whom? Capitalists - who control & profit from private health care.
“This was a very very bad vote”

"treasonous"? No, just another sell out of workers to capitalists. But then, most senators & congressmen have been bought & owned by capitalists since the founding of the republic. Read & learn: Read & learn: Robert Ovetz, We the Elites: Why the US Constitution Serves the Few (2022).
Senators on the brink of retirement who lived full, wealthy lives and never feared the loss of their own healthcare voting for their constituents to die from their inability to afford the same is treasonous

How'd he manage that? I grew up with 'em, but never managed such intimate, friendly relationships.

Hey, Oxfam, the "powerful few" are CAPITALISTS, & this is nothing new. They've been wasting the Earth's wealth throughout their history. How? Mostly by turning it into the means of employing & thus controlling the rest of us.
Since 1990, the emissions share of the richest 1% has increased by 13%, and the richest 0.1% has grown by 32%, while the poorest 50% has decreased by 3%.

The "wealthy", the "rich" are CAPITALISTS, & they bought up both media & politicians long, long ago. They SET UP the political system so they could control it & thru it, control us. Read & learn: Robert Ovetz, We the Elites: Why the Us Constitution Serves the Few
(2022).
Even if you get welfarist politicians, the windmills of elections turn back and forth on thermostatic intervals! Any appearance of victory is temporary at best! The wealthy are fickle consumers! The rich will pay different administrators at different hours! We must strike at the division in economy

Those "rich people" are CAPITALISTS, & they bought up both media & politicians long, long ago. They SET UP the political system so they could control it & thru it, control us. Read & learn: Robert Ovetz, We the Elites: Why the Us Constitution Serves the Few
(2022).
The fact that rich people are buying up the media and politicians, and using up the remaining carbon budget is very bad for everyone.

Another sell out by Democrats? Or just complicity? They TRY to make us think there are fundamental differences between the two parties, but their behavior repeatedly shows otherwise. But then both parties are owned, lock, stock & barrel by capitalists.
