We went to Balsam Hill’s site, figuring they’d have an after-Christmas sales, and yes they do. We had thought of going for a tall skinny Tree. Instead we went for short and wide. Either choice would have been fine. Bottom line is that it’ll make things easier for my aging self.

January 25’s theatrical release of the extended version of “The Return of the King” will be PACKED. No, we’re not watching the whole trilogy in a theater, what with our having just done so at home, but we couldn’t miss out on the chance to see the finale on a big screen.
