Just woke up even angrier. Impeach, convict, remove. Draft articles now. Either we have a representative government or we don’t. Do not shut up about this until there’s a vote.

For the record, he was just as serious about invading Canada and Greenland to steal their natural resources too.

The man is a demented global menace.

Only a fucking idiot would try to run another country when the one he’s already in charge of is being fucked up so badly by him!

Looking right at you Donald J. Trump.

Right now there's a person somewhere who can leak the Epstein files which are being illegally kept from release.

They need our support.

Chris Murphy: "Clearly this is wildly illegal. This is a president who has been operating illegally since he was sworn in -- stealing from the American people, seizing spending power, now dragging America into a war overseas ... Donald Trump's entire foreign policy is corrupt."

If you are a foreign president who commits crimes overseas, America will come get you, arrest you, and lock you up.

But if you are a US president who commits crimes here in the United States, America will give you immunity from prosecution, reelect you, and bribe you with billions of dollars.

Is it me or is there no date on the indictment released yesterday? Thus far there's no arrest warrant shown, and SDNY is weeks behind on public news releases.

Did they have this in advance of the operation? How far in advance? If they did not, on what authority did they arrest Maduro's wife?

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Isn't it odd that the United States has enough money to suddenly run Venezuela, but not enough to run our own country?

There is always cash in the piggy bank for bombs to kill people, but never for healthcare to keep them alive.

I'm curious?!
If the UN council has an emergency meeting that Trump committed an unjust war crime. Can Mandami have him arrested at Laguadia if he arrives to meet with Maduro?
Just asking the question here...🤷‍♀️

I don’t hate the US — I hate this illegitimate administration. There is a substantive difference.

As a punk rocker for forty four years, I get the impulse to hate the US as a whole, but as a federal employee who strives on behalf of American taxpayers, NO
solidarity to the people of Venezuela

just so you know, plenty of USians hate the US, and I’m one of them

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

Moulton: "When we had briefings on Venezuela, we asked, 'Are you going to invade the country?' We were told no. 'Do you plan to put troops on the ground?' We were told no. 'Do you intend regime change in VZ?' We were told no. So in a sense, we have been briefed, we've just been completely lied to"

Actually, let’s get political* — it’s well past time to do so.

* for the record, politics is just the business of rational citizens, looking after and determining the affairs of their community — nothing more and nothing less. We should all get political, everyday. Our communities depend on us!
Not to get political, but what the fuck is happening?

You have to go through Congress for anything resembling this type of war. Round up Massie and Paul types and have him removed. The people in this administration are on actual drugs and have insatiable bloodlust and bespoke mental illnesses. He has to go, and everybody with him.
