At the time, Pokémon Gold. Now I find it hard to say because favourite is tricky. Smash Bros is a great game I never want to play again because it has been superceded by its descendants. I haven't played Final Fantasy VIII but it's what I would most want to play. System Shock 2 is very influential.

It's been a long journey playing this game, and it's somehow fitting that its ultimate accomplishment is also so profoundly silly:

This is the SCOTUS MO lately—when a federal court invalidates any Trump administration policy, they issue a shadow docket order staying the court’s decision with no meaningful explanation. In this way, they avoid saying the government policy is legally valid, but allow it to persist.

I hadn’t been updating on this situation here, but, this should put to bed what was a number of weeks of job anxiety. Yay for surviving one more time in this industry.
