Just started doing new data analysis and I know I keep saying this, but: I really, really don't think people appreciate how much this moral panic was a deliberate and extremely expensive invention.

My dykiest? Well that depends—what does it look like I would do to a pretty girl?

The game I was going to mention after seeing you post this. One of my partners and I connected over Blue Prince and now keep looking for games of this I’ll to co-op.

What a moment for Josh Allen to use his ultimate

Good for you. I had a partner just going through this and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone

That specific one is the only time I ever think of this issue while playing

She needs to gather a quorum before she can request any policy changes

Then: Final Fantasy VIII
Now: System Shock 2
At the time, Pokémon Gold. Now I find it hard to say because favourite is tricky. Smash Bros is a great game I never want to play again because it has been superceded by its descendants. I haven't played Final Fantasy VIII but it's what I would most want to play. System Shock 2 is very influential.
Quote this with your favourite game from 1999 NOW, and what your favourite was THEN (if you had one)

Localisations/expansions count, remasters/ports don't. Remakes depend.

Two-way ties count.

Sadly I have to explain that the bus wasn’t really an important component here and it was, merely, along for the ride

It's been a long journey playing this game, and it's somehow fitting that its ultimate accomplishment is also so profoundly silly:

(infinite score--that is, playing a hand whose score exceeds the maximum value of a float and breaks the score counter)

I used to work with someone who, I believe, played with you in something more like the “teen” era games (engineer at Blizzard now)

It’s gotten obvious enough to be a giant elephant in the room. A bunch of federal judges spoke to NYT reporters about it a few weeks ago, which is bonkers. Justice Barrett is doing media interviews defending it because she’s the only conservative justice you can put in front of a mic.

This is the SCOTUS MO lately—when a federal court invalidates any Trump administration policy, they issue a shadow docket order staying the court’s decision with no meaningful explanation. In this way, they avoid saying the government policy is legally valid, but allow it to persist.

Ok she was right about the smell. It’s really too bad I couldn’t go out tonight, so I can’t give her a chance to make good on the second part as well (yet)

I just accepted a job offer (same company).

I hadn’t been updating on this situation here, but, this should put to bed what was a number of weeks of job anxiety. Yay for surviving one more time in this industry.

It’s an effect I don’t hear discussed as often, but is one of the more conscious-level noticeable effects for me, of when they’re on vs. off

Yeah, *points up to OP* it turns out you can just ask people things instead 😌

And makes everything better. Yeah I don’t know why there’s some kind of whole discourse about it. That would probably require understanding more about straight dating and whatnot than we really care to
