Back in historic Diddle Arena for some Lady Topper basketball vs. Indiana State, in the last game, the lady toppers overcame a 15 point deficit in the second half to win in overtime, hopefully, there won't be that much drama tonight

Back in Diddle Arena for Lady Topper basketball against Wichita State, after Saturday I am very nervous about this game

In my happy place for Lady topper basketball, first game of the season against Kentucky State. Last season was another disappointment, hopefully this season will be better.

To me, this episodes shows us and tells us what it means to be Spock. The struggles he faces, and how deals with them. I'm not sure the people at Strange New Worlds get it. #allstartrek #thissideofparadise

I wonder if Leila will show up ( and probably be ruined) in season 4 or 5 of strange new worlds. #allstartrek #thissideofparadise

Strange New Worlds has almost ruined this episode for me. #allstartrek #Arena

This is probably the new head of paramount's favorite Star Trek the next generation episode. #allStarTrek

I just watched this week's Star Trek Strange New Worlds, I really don't know if that was good or not. It was an interesting concept, I will have to think about it. I do know they have ruined Nurse Chapel for me.

Paramount reveals celebrations for 60th anniversary of Star Trek
Paramount reveals celebrations for 60th anniversary of Star Trek
The iconic franchise will turn 60 in 2026, and Paramount has some big plans to honor the show. In the 1960s, it was essentially unfathomable that a sci-fi series that couldn’t last a full three seasons on TV would spawn a franchise that would stretch six decades into the future. But that’s exactly what happened, and now “Star Trek ” is a sprawling property with countless episodes, movies, video games, toys, books, and other media to its name. Paramount is incredibly proud of Trek and has announced its plans to celebrate the franchise in 2026, when it turns 60 years old. Key Details: Boldly go to Paramount+: The new, live-action “Starfleet Academy” series is coming to Paramount+ next year. Scanning YouTube: A new, free Star Trek series for younger kids will stream on YouTube. No waiting: Fans will be able to enjoy a discount at the online Star Trek store from Sept. 8 through 12. Sign Up $7.99+ / month paramountplus.com Of most interest to fans of the Star Trek franchise will be the release of “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy” in 2026. Set in the 32nd century, the show will follow the first new class of Starfleet Academy cadets in over a century, and will feature an ensemble cast headlined by Holly Hunter, Paul Giamatti, and Robert Picardo returning as The Doctor from “Star Trek: Voyager .” There is also a new Star Trek web series for kids coming to the free streaming platform YouTube for fans to enjoy. The new show “Star Trek: Scouts” follows three 8-year-old friends named JR, Sprocket, and Roo who train to become future Starfleet explorers. Two short-form episodes of the show on the Nickelodeon Blaze and the Monster Machines Channel, and the other 20 episodes from the first season, will be released over the next year. There are lots of other exciting promotions in store for Star Trek fans, including a partnership with Lego that will allow the construction toy company to create sets based on the franchise for the first time. Viewers will also be able to enjoy Star Trek digital comics with Webtoon in 2026, and tune into an all-new scripted podcast called “Star Trek: Khan,” which will explore stories of the villain during his isolation on Ceti Alpha V. Star Trek: The Cruise will also be back in 2026, and shoppers will be able to enjoy a special discount using code STARTREKDAY25 when they log on to browse the online Star Trek Shop. Alas, there was no word from Paramount on the development of any future Star Trek movies, but it’s quite likely that the studio does have some plans for the future in that regard. Viewers can watch the Star Trek franchise on Paramount+ now. All Trek shows and movies are available to stream with either Paramount+ plan, so you can watch with ads for just $8 per month, or upgrade to the ad-free plan for $13. Paramount+ is also offering a 50% discount off annual plans for a limited time, so if you want to stream Star Trek titles for the entirety of the next year at a great price, now is the time to strike! This week's Star Trek Strange New Worlds was fine, but I didn't like the ending
September 5, 2025 at 2:54 PM
The Lights of Zetar would be a better episode if Spock McCoy and Kirk stopped calling Lt. Romaine "the girl". #allstartrek

We are getting closer and closer to maga trek
yeah, SNW was kinda refreshingly fun in its first 2 seasons, and there's still a lot of the approach that appeals, playful touches and all that, but man is this season becoming just *weird* in its commitment to... well, everything from "Spock is SO SO SO STRAIGHT" to... like, *this*
SPOILERS: So remember how Star Trek Strange New Worlds had a fantastic scene in season 2 where La’an is told “genetics aren’t destiny” and she’s self hating because she’s told she’s a monster? Well in this weeks episode, we learn the fun fact, La’an IS in fact genetically predisposed to evil. Yay!
August 31, 2025 at 7:08 PM
I think the biggest problem with this week's Star Trek Strange New Worlds is, it felt like a rehash of Berman era Trek. They are trying to tell us genetics are destiny, completely forgetting Vulcans spend a lifetime learning how to control their emotions.
August 30, 2025 at 8:13 PM
Did she write this week's Strange New Worlds?
Quick!

Post a random Star Trek character
August 30, 2025 at 2:03 AM
They completely forgot that it is a lifetime of learned behavior to suppress emotions, one of the most stupid things about the episode
Like, come the fuck on, Star Trek, this is not the time to be making canonically cultural phenomena somehow magically genetic. I don't want to have to put on my "this is race science" hat while watching my stories!
Watching the new episode of Strange New Worlds, and not to be that guy, but when did Pike, Uhura, La'an, and Chapel go through Kolinahr?
August 30, 2025 at 12:57 AM
What can I say about this week's Star Trek Strange New Worlds, it had a few good moments but overall this episode was a bad idea
August 29, 2025 at 2:06 PM
I just watched this week's Star Trek Strange new worlds, I applaud them for trying something new, but I don't think this really worked.
August 21, 2025 at 4:34 PM
Back in Diddle Arena for WKU volleyball, an exhibition game against Bellarmine, the season starts next week
August 16, 2025 at 6:25 PM
Still not worth living through the 80s
Strange New Worlds continues to be top-tier Trek. The commitment to Trek canon, diverse adventure-of-the-week format, and ambition to take wild, fresh swings really works. Reminds me of 90s Trek in the era of TOS.
August 16, 2025 at 2:21 AM
I watched this week's Star Trek Strange New worlds,it was pretty good.Chapel's role was minimal this week.
August 15, 2025 at 9:05 PM
My problem with this week's Star Trek Strange New Worlds was the focus on Chapel, they have ruined the character for me, she is the Harry Kim of this series. I think they wanted to honor Majel Barrett, but they over corrected
August 7, 2025 at 9:21 PM
Sounds like some Berman Trek
Tonight on Star Trek: The Next Generation
Captain Picard travels through time however the writers don’t even care about the A plot, or the B plot, or the C plot. It’s really not clear at all what is going on and then the episode just ends.
