I think it's good for someone to enjoy the gothic, horror, and recognize the influences that misogyny, racism, systemic violence, etc. have negatively had on the genre. it's also fine to not care for certain tropes. but the desire to purify the impure for what, aesthetic purposes? is mind-boggling.

Been chipping away at this in my free time, sort of a redo of a comm from a while back; i loved the character design and always felt I didn't quite do it justice in the original, so I wanted to use the character for style tests and this is how she turned out, think I'm pretty happy with it :')

My mental health just skyrocketed. Honestly it's been so nice not being on socials and hanging out with people in VC. It feels like a mind vacation. Not to mention putting myself first. Mmm, feels good man.
