Curbside collection of solid waste is cancelled today, Feb. 12. Recovery will occur on Feb. 26. Please ensure your waste is securely stored and away from the curb to allow room for snow clearing crews to work.

Alderney Ferry service is running on a 30 min schedule until further notice, due to maintenance. Ferries will depart Alderney at XX:00 & XX:30. Ferries will depart Halifax at xx:15 & xx:45. Woodside Ferry service is not impacted at this time. Shuttles will be provided

Snow routes for Halifax Transit buses will be in effect on Feb. 2. There are currently no impacts to ferry service, beyond the ongoing 30-minute service disruption for the Alderney ferry.

All Municipal offices, including in-person Planning & Development permit offices and Customer Service Centres are delay opening at 10am.
