Snow routes for Halifax Transit buses will be in effect on Feb. 2. There are currently no impacts to ferry service, beyond the ongoing 30-minute service disruption for the Alderney ferry.
Service update (Feb. 2, 7 a.m.) Operations remain active in all areas. Crews are focused on priority routes. Most main roads are clear and passable. Winter conditions are present - please travel with care. Details: buff.ly/dbPPkqN

Alderney Ferry service is running on a 30 min schedule until further notice, due to maintenance. Ferries will depart Alderney at XX:00 & XX:30. Ferries will depart Halifax at xx:15 & xx:45. Woodside Ferry service is not impacted at this time. Shuttles will be provided.

Snowfall totals as of 9am Tuesday: Average 20-30cm over the southern Maritimes. I had 22cm. A few spots over 35cm with the 41.9cm the highest at Sluice Pt. at the SW tip on NS (near Pubnico).
