#Halifax council isn’t perfect—who is?!—but there are solid voices speaking out, including Janet Steele. Removing the bridge tolls, making parking free at hospitals, not promoting working from home all add to congestion. That’s Premier Tim Houston’s doing, not bike lanes.
Steele said this issue is like Trump with tariffs and his flip-flopping.
Is it congestion? Is it cost? She stresses that Houston shouldn’t have removed bridge tolls, allowing civil servants to work from home, the BS with parking at hospitals.
