Ok so like… #civ 7 is not a good product. It should never have shipped it is unfinished. But it’s fucking fun once you get the trick. It’s the first civ I’ve played that doesn’t feel like “get the yield, win that yield victory”. It almost always requires a varied legacy path (except domination)

I’m making a concerted effort to be more inviting. Not necessarily more likeable, but trying to invite the sort of interactions I want not just showing up and hoping they happen.

I think the U.S. has culturally neutered/spayed itself because the only people able to consistently participate are those under 25 and over 65. Between these ages we are fully engaged with making enough money to survive and feed children.
We need more people that can lead by example.
