What could possibly go wrong?
India and Russia are set to sign a mobility pact, which would help increase the number of Indian workers in Russia in the coming years, The Economic Times reported.

The deal is likely to be signed during Putin's trip to India next month.

I would delete the used condom comparison and add that the survival of media like the BBC is crucial to our defence against Russia and if Keir Starmer understands that threat he should be appalled by what’s happened.

Apart from that I fully second this piece

Massive Russian overnight strikes hit Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Mykolaiv. Power infrastructure was targeted, causing blackouts and fires. A woman was killed and dozens injured. Emergency outages are now in place across several regions.

I'm hard-pressed to think of a non-Jewish Democratic politician who has spoken to Jews with more respect and empathy than Mamdani. The fact that many Jewish establishment orgs are going after him while staying relatively mum on resurgent Nazism is a disaster, both for American Jews and in general.

Seems like a parody but I’m not sure it is
From @theathletic.com: A few years ago, Matt Berninger, the singer-songwriter and frontman of The National, was stuck with writer’s block. “I started getting depressed by notebooks.” So he wrote on a baseball instead. Then the words kept coming.

Matt Berninger traded his notebook for a baseball. And the words kept coming
For The National’s frontman, the way forward was written on rawhide.

Well worth watching - thanks Anton for posting this.

Brilliant how he cuts short the presenter’s attempt to defuse the row by saying there are lots of different interpretations of Maidan - “not really, and you were there too, reporting - you think you were fooled cos it was actually a CIA plot?”
Italian Senator Carlo Calenda left Jeffrey Sachs literally speechless and shocked by calling him a liar and someone who repeats Russian propaganda narratives.

I believe this is exactly how public accountability should work - when a liar is called a liar.

"Statue-maxxing" is bleak
Conservative-leaning tech investors are racing to build a new American colossus, and they want something much, much bigger than the Statue of Liberty. Meet the new monuments men of the tech right and their plans for statue-maxing:
