Dear ICE: They don't let you wear a mask in your mug shot.
Great news. This is what an ICE agent looks like in a mugshot. Meet Gerardo Rodriguez, 45, of Temecula, courtesy of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office. Arrested for "illegally detaining a minor at gunpoint while off duty last week." 🧵

I think Americans are realizing that democracy is a participation sport, and the the government is ours if we want it to be. I feel like we got complacent and hoped some other third party would do the work for us. Seems like we have to learn that lesson every generation.

This is just one node in what is clearly a booming economy surrounding the mass deportation machine. I've heard stories of locksmiths, rental companies, used car lots, and others pulling profits from immigration enforcement activities--at a time when local economies are cratering due to raids.

The Epstein case is really about the rot at the core of the billionaire elites.

Jeffrey Epstein became a billionaire by breaking the law for other billionaires.
The Epstein case is likely to be seen very differently by history. Certainly, it will be seen differently from how it is typically portrayed in the media. My latest. open.substack.com/pub/davidrot...
