Absolutely do NOT give your ID or face scan on Discord. It's even worse than expected. Apparently due to people bypassing current systems, they're switching to "persona" which is funded by fucking Peter Thiel.

Discord has announced a major change coming to the service as part of its aim to improve teen safety features. Starting in March, all users globally will be required to submit age verification via a face scan or submitted ID, or be given teen-level access restrictions.

With the whole recent news about Discord, -DO NOT- give them your ID. It sucks if they do end up going for this stupid ID scan stuff, but your privacy and security are WAY more important.
We'll find alternates for our communities and chatting if we need to.
