I paid my therapist a zillion dollars to tell me this, so I’m passing it on to anyone else in MN who needs to hear it:

I do not care if the people ICE has killed were good or bad. That doesn't matter.
What matters is that those people had a right to trial by jury. By being on American soil they had rights. ICE violated those rights, executed them, and did it to terrorize people in the name of a dictator.

Luke and I work from home, and he's job/commission hunting. Our lunch breaks are interrupted by me calling our government reps, and we don't get out much. The backyard wildlife are more than just us touching grass, they're really necessary moments of calm.

I get it. They sometimes publish a good piece. But my contempt for The Atlantic runs so deep. I'll pretty much always look for a piece that covers the same ground in a more ethical publication, and such work usually exists. Support indy media, fam. It'll help get you free, instead of the reverse.
