I don't think people appreciate enough the fact that, at a time where global warming was approaching an inflection point yet renewable energy was finally becoming economically viable, we decided to squander that opportunity because literal death cultists decided we needed Infinite Bullshit Machines.

NEW ANALYSIS: UK household electricity bills have risen over the last 5 years.

BUT: Despite frequent claims that net zero is to blame: 2/3 of the increase is because of high gas prices shows new @ukerc.bsky.social report.

Arguably without renewable energy the UK would see even higher bills today.

More and more Americans are voicing their outrage at the tactics being deployed by federal agents in Minnesota. But it’s important to understand the broader implications of what this administration is doing, and the threat it poses to the basic freedoms of every American.

Wow,

That’s hard hitting.

Only 12,000 views so far but I won’t be surprised if that hits 120,000,000 pretty soon.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Farage lied when he said he was too ill to appear for the BBC interview on Sunday.
The Heartland Institute, whose party he attended instead, doesn't believe in tobacco harms, climate change and seeks the dismantling of the NHS.
Be warned. If you care

Regardless of the climate impact, the more we invest in onshore or near shore renewables, the less reliant we'll be on the likes of the US, Russia and the Arabian petro-states.

a gentle reminder that wind power is bloody great, contributes bulk energy at a scale that was almost literally unimaginable in the energy discourse of the 2010s, and in conjunction with solar power, storage, transmission and aggressive demand reduction where possible, can eliminate fossil fuels ->

Farage failed to declare over £380,000 in outside earnings on top of his MP's salary.

He's lining his pockets when he should be standing up for Britain.

Remember the BBC headlines given to the attacks on Angela Rayner for one error and her subsequent resignation? Not one mention of Farage’s 17 and therefore systematic abuses of parliamentary standards on financial declarations.

There’s only one name for it. Corruption.

It just means that Twitter will hide offending posts by Grok from UK users I think. Which also, interestingly, shows that they are able to wholesale identify which posts are illegal on an automated level, which is usually something these platforms deny is possible.
