#BookSky I have not been reading as much as I want lately so big reviews have been on hold. I finished off Haruki Murakami's Dance Dance Dance. Fun to read, it was OK. I tried Hermann Hesse's Steppenwolf. Also, just OK. Maybe it's a sign of growth these literary characters aren't packing a punch. 🤷

Big news: I’m writing a book!!

I’ll be writing & illustrating a beginner’s guide to appreciating wildlife in cities/suburbs, & how all of us can make our neighborhoods better for those animals.

Thank you to my book agent @ericsmithrocks.bsky.social & the folks at Storey for believing in this book!

Fialho et al. find that synaptojanin 1, endophilin A1, dynamin 1, and adaptor-associated protein kinase-1 mediate synaptic vesicle recycling and neurotransmission in nociceptive circuits in the spinal cord. Learn more in #PAIN bit.ly/3WIf08B

Help:

We have developed an organoid model of diabetic neuropathy.

It has oligodendrocytes, myelin, and adding diabetic stimuli makes them lose myelination, and break down mitochondria.

Further yet, we show this can be prevented with pharmacological intervention.
