So this phrase “able-bodied” has clearly been on the most recent list of R talking points. It comes from the first round of English labor laws, which were instituted after the Black Death.

My answer to this is usually some variation of “it will always be about race until we end white supremacy.”
and after all of the horrific things that happened to Black people and continues to happen to Black people, if i bring up race one too many times in front of white liberals, they will yell at me saying “why does it always have to be about race?”
