BREAKING: The House passed the so-called SAVE America Act which threatens to upend our freedom to vote.

The bill could disenfranchise millions of eligible voters by requiring documents like passports or birth certificates to register to vote and forcing voter roll purges. The Senate must reject it.

My Kalma has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The good news is she is in good health it may be low grade, meaning surgery will drastically improve life expectancy. The bad is it normally costs around $6000 and is time sensitive- things I just do not have.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.

In 2023, I managed to slip out before the layoffs hit me, and landed a new role in 2 business days.

In 2024, I managed to secure a new role in 31 days, leaving 3 weeks before those layoffs hit.

Unfortunately, I couldn't keep dancing through the lightning strikes.

I'm now looking for work.

Text message exchange: Me: Good morning! I wanted to check in and see if you are okay with me bringing Jenga to your nail clinic this Saturday to get her nails clipped and paws shaved out. She has a torn ligament in her right back knee and is getting surgery on the 18th. I want her paws to be as clean as possible but don't want to make anyone uncomfortable since she is technically injured. She is getting around fine but has some back end weakness and wouldn't be able to stand on that leg. Response from groomer: Of course we can do that, that is no problem

It could be really bad for Discord if Californians contact the office of the Attorney General to report the potential violations of CCPA and CALOPPA citing the recent breach from a few months back where 1.5tb of user data and millions of IDs were leaked, but who can say for sure?
