So far today, Chuck Schumer has said his strategy for preventing Trump sending troops into blue cities is to win over Republican senators (!) while Hakeem Jeffries praised Eric Adams's courage and authenticity (!!) while refusing to endorse Mamdani. Again.

These two gotta go.

This is far more dangerous than Kimmel being pulled off the air. DOJ has absolutely no reason to be involved here.

You’re missing the point. It doesn’t matter what Kimmel said. The federal government threatened ABC to suspend/fire Kimmel or there’d be consequences. It was a direct threat issued yesterday, and it’s on tape. That’s a direct violation of the First Amendment. It’s a direct attack on free speech.

After he leaked Zohran Mamdani’s Columbia application data to the New York Times, critics called Jordan Lasker a “eugenicist.” A Mother Jones report shows there’s much more to his backstory.

The thing about the Epstein disgustingness that strikes me hardest is that hundreds of rich old men raped underage girls and the only person currently in jail for that vile behavior is a woman.

We’ve leapt over a lot of red lines in the last week. But one I find most worrying is Trump/MAGA/ICE have ceased even pretending to claim some criminal pretext for cracking down on protected speech. It’s just straight up “if you criticize us, you’re getting throttled/arrested/disappeared.”

What we’re seeing in L.A. isn’t an insurrection—so why federalize the National Guard? Why the threat of using the U.S. military against civilians?

We’re not there yet—but we’re closer than we think.
