Made parathas from scratch tonight! It was a lot of work, as most breads are, but I do enjoy mucking about with food. Paired those suckers with some ready-to-go microwave curries though, bc heck if I'm also making those from scratch on the same night, lol

I've actually been doing a lot of art lately, I'm just very... out of practice with posting any of it online, post webcomics. I'm going to try to be better about slapping it up on Instagram and here though 😅

Only just saw that Drew Struzan has passed away. Such an amazing artist. My favourite of his many posters is one of his lesser known ones, a Return to Oz variant that features one of my fave villains, Princess Mombi. RIP Drew, you were a legend.

Every single convention organizer, publisher, art director, project manager, etc. who's even once entertained the thought of using genAI imagery or LLM generated text at any stage should be paying *full* attention to how popular DragonCon is becoming for enforcing their "no genAI" policies.

I've been "collecting" kpop demon hunter cosplay this weekend - I'm only missing a mystery and romance in their "your idol" outfits and a Zoey and Mira in their Golden looks.

Had my nose to the grindstone for the past few weeks getting new art ready for FanExpo next weekend. Thankfully managed to get it all in yesterday. One of the posters took me 2 weeks. The other I banged out in 2 days. 😑 Art is "fun" sometimes
