A founding member of Patriotic Millionaires formulates a solution to the untenable wealth inequality we endure in an interview with DW News Today (basically the German BBC) about Elon Musk's $1 trillion pay package and the implications for capitalism and democracy.

They can indict people left and right because grand juries usually go along with the prosecutors but even in this case, the grand jury refused to charge him with a felony and took it down to a misdemeanor. And then, the juries of 12 people only one of whom has to disagree, will say "NOT GUILTY."

Thinking this level of inequality is unsustainable isn’t radical, thinking it isn’t is

And they're consumers, too. So 3M+ of them cancelled their business with Disney and Disney reinstated Jimmy Kimmel in less than a week. WE THE PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER OF THE PURSE. Let's use it.

This is a taste of things to come. As the regime keeps indicting people by grand juries which are famously known for indicting ham sandwiches, the proverbial is going to hit the fan when the cases get in front of 12 regular people only one of whom has to vote NO.

We're so far behind in such important measures of 21st century opportunities.
Australia has so much electricity from solar power that it is going to start offering free electricity to everyone for at least three hours during the day as the wholesale price of power goes negative

Australia has so much solar that it's offering everyone free electricity
Australia's extensive solar power penetration makes so much energy that the government wants to offer free electricity at peak hours.

New in PN: Virginia and New Jersey can show that Trump isn't inevitable

"A powerful performance this Tuesday could help break the feverish doom loop of Democratic self-recrimination and elite capitulation which has contributed to our flatulent descent into fascist thuggery."

The Dems have to develop a narrative that will incentivize people to vote. For instance, instead of talking about Medicare for All, come up with a blueprint for transforming our health care system by eliminating the profit motive. Make health care a cost+ industry. Then, talk about implementation.
Voting just became Mandatory!

All the isms are dead. All the labels (liberal, conservative, libertarian, democrat, republican, social democrat) are meaningless. We should all be HUMANISTS now if we want our species to survive.
I want the United States government to ensure that every American has food to eat, a place to live, a safe neighborhood, transportation to move around & work, clean water to drink, free health care & free education.

Don’t care what label you give that.

That’s what I want my taxes to pay for.

No, give them a pathway to permanent residence. If this had been the goal all along, it would already have happened many years ago. You will never get past the Reps fear of adding votes to their opponents’ column although the last election certainly brought that into question.
This is a fact! Alt-IRS approves.
Undocumented immigrants paid $100 billion in taxes in 2022. It would cost $300 billion to deport them all. They're here, they're working, they're contributing. Give them a pathway to citizenship.

Why didn’t the Dems when they were in control of the government make it happen? Because all they know is tactics not strategy.
If the people of Puerto Rico vote and want to be a state. They’ve been a territory for too long, but they need to want to be a state. Our last state was Hawaii, and that was 1959. They deserve proper representation and the ability to vote for the President and their representatives in Congress.

MORE OF THIS! The Dems should be running ads around this theme all the time and everywhere.
Nobody wants to work anymore.
October 29, 2025 at 4:45 PM
And what that means is that We the People are subsidizing the oligarchs two ways, by enabling them to pay lower than fair wages and by not requiring them to pay their fair share of taxes.
I'm no economist but the fact that more than 42 million Americans (1 in 8!) are on SNAP (i.e., food stamps) says that the federal minimum wage is way too low.
October 29, 2025 at 4:31 PM
Health care like food, housing and education should be provided to We the People at cost plus. Mature capitalism should mean the essentials of life for human beings should be free of the profit motive. That should be the culmination of what our efforts over the ages have wrought.
One example of the price increases on the horizon. People are literally about to be priced out in the same way landlords price people out of apartments. It won’t stop here either

How many of us have already put off going to the doctor/dentist, simply because we can’t afford it? This is unacceptable
So I've been paying $1200 a month this year for an ACA plan.

2026 preview site from the regime just went up.

This is what the exact same plan will cost me per month in 2026.

I'm beside myself.

Just saw on cable news a elderly woman on Social Security who won't be able to buy a Thanksgiving turkey while the chyron showed the stock market is up by 262. This is an obscenity.
The depth of the shame of a country this wealthy and abundant allowing its people to go hungry is impossible to measure. The fact that a handful of people could fix this by paying their fair share of taxes while still remaining obscenely wealthy makes it even worse.
October 28, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Just saw a segment on cable news about an older retired woman living on Social Security whose circumstances and the end of SNAP will not allow her to purchase a turkey for Thanksgiving. All the while, the chyron shows the stock market up by 262 points. THE U.S.A. IS BEYOND REDEMPTION.
