Four journalists were killed by an Israeli strike on a Gaza hospital today, including Mariam Dagga, a freelancer with the @apnews.com. She has a 12-year-old son, who was evacuated from Gaza earlier in the war.
She was a true hero, like all of our Palestinian colleagues in Gaza.

"27 pizzas in an armored convoy" feels like the peak expression of US humanitarianism.
While all of Gaza starves and the entry of aid is prohibited, American mercenaries with the assistance of an IDF armored convoy are able to bring Domino’s pizza in when they feel like it.

Police killed at least 1,365 people in the U.S. in 2024, making it the deadliest year on record. Black and Indigenous people were disproportionately targeted with both groups roughly 3 times more likely to be killed by police than white people.
