We just stopped Nigel Farage’s plan to drag Britain out of the ECHR and tear up people’s rights. Farage wanted to scrap Churchill’s legacy and bring us closer to Trump's America.

We need the massive boost to trade that a new Customs Union with the EU would deliver - everyone knows that would do wonders for growth and our economy - well said Ed!

The UK Government should deploy all its efforts to bring Israel and Iran back from the brink. I have written to the Foreign Secretary to offer Liberal Democrat support for measures to de-escalate the conflict.
