I’ve written to Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage urging them to condemn Donald Trump’s attack on the BBC.

The BBC belongs to Britain, not Trump. We must defend it together.

We just stopped Nigel Farage’s plan to drag Britain out of the ECHR and tear up people’s rights. Farage wanted to scrap Churchill’s legacy and bring us closer to Trump's America.

The Tories can shout at me all they like, but the truth is their Brexit deal it is hurting our country and Labour won’t do anything about it.

Today I urged the Prime Minister to actually fix it.

We need the massive boost to trade that a new Customs Union with the EU would deliver - everyone knows that would do wonders for growth and our economy - well said Ed!

People across the UK deserve to live in decent, affordable, and stable homes. 🧱

That's why it's encouraging to see developments like Somerset Council's Rainbow Way Project in Minehead and Mid Devon District Council's St George's Court in Tiverton, both focused on supporting local people.✅

Our plans for more Premier League games to be free-to-air were blocked once – but as all football fans know, the new season brings a fresh chance for victory.

That’s why we’ll be bringing back a proposal to Parliament.

The government has missed an open goal once - surely they won’t do it again.

If the only way you'll ever hear someone call out Nigel Farage's destructive, divisive politics on the BBC is for me to do it, then so be it.
Watch @EdDavey.LibDems.org.uk call out the BBC for their failure to hold Nigel Farage to account.

This record of failure shows water regulation in our country is broken.

Water companies are getting away with polluting our rivers on an industrial scale and face little more than a slap on the wrist.

Ed Davey is listening to us on this issue. I’m sure the other parties will bring it up too. But it’s not just the BBC. All the broadcasters are over platforming Reform. Our petition is now close to 5k. Sign and pass on. We must hear ALL our parties much more petition.parliament.uk/petitions/71...

It’s about time the Government came to its senses. We @libdems.org.uk have been demanding Ofwat be scrapped since 2022.

We need a tough, effective regulator that finally puts the people of Epsom & Ewell + our waterways first, not Thames Water executives + their profits.

Ed is right to ask the PM about Special Educational Needs & Disability today, local children desperately need more help and support
Today @MuniraWilson.bsky.social and I have written to the Prime Minister, calling on him to ensure that reform of the SEND system has children at its heart.

After years of Conservative neglect, the SEND system needs fundamental change. But change must be a step forwards not backwards.

The BBC are constantly bending over backwards to please Reform.

I fear they're becoming a mouthpiece for Nigel Farage, a guy who wants to destroy them.

The SEND system urgently needs fixing, but Ministers mustn't use that as an excuse to balance the books on the backs of disabled children.

The government cannot continue to ignore the voices of SEND children and their families.
We urgently need a new National Body for SEND.

Iran’s nuclear ambitions pose a grave threat to regional stability and global security. That threat can only truly be eliminated through robust diplomacy.

Following the US strikes, it is essential that we work to deescalate the conflict and achieve that diplomatic solution.

The UK needs to take bolder action on Israel/Gaza - recognition for Palestine is key:
The Liberal Democrats’ foreign affairs team have written to the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary, urging them to take the vital step of formally recognising a state of Palestine.

Was great to speak last week @gideonamos.bsky.social

You spoke in parliament so movingly about the hundreds of emails you receive from constituents in dental pain.

Change can't come soon enough.
"It's not just about teeth really, is it" says @gideonamos.bsky.social MP.

"It's people's dignity."

Delighted to meet with you last week to talk through what we need to end this crisis.

The "tidal wave of distress" hitting your constituents is the direct result of political choices.
