I think an aspect of the whole trans sports thing is that even if everything the fear mongers were saying was true, it's moot because sports aren't fair. Usain Bolt doesn't just want it more than 8 billion people. (1/2)

What's even the point of giving him the silly outfit if you're obviously not gonna make him act like skeletor? Are people really gonna love this movie because you captured the look of masters of the universe but not its identity?

I'm gonna plant this flag in the sand: if last week you were an NRA asshole, and this week the fact that he had a gun meant he was a criminal, you are a mindless drone who couldn't think for yourself if your life depended on it. You are a sheep, who will believe whatever lie your masters tell you.

Liberals: I need you to understand that if you nominate this man, we will NOT vote for him. Period.

You've got three years. Reject him. Because if he's your standard bearer, you lose.

Polite fascism is not an acceptable alternative to fascism.

I know the whole "x is a distraction from y" is a tired take that gets on everybody's nerves, but if it has a grain of truth, it's this: the proper channels for justice are damn slow, and they know that a fire hose of crimes leave no room to litigate any one thing.

It's amazing how we've normalized stealing so fast that open thieves argue that being told to stop stealing would be bad for the theft industry.

It really wasn't that long ago that big tech sold us the present, rather than the future. Sure the iPhone was advertised as the tech of the future, but the pitch was always rooted in what it could do right now. Apple figured out apps and touchscreens were feasible before selling it, not after.

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.
