Farewell to the legendary Jane Goodall. I was jealous of high school students here (and all over) getting to meet her through the Roots and Shoots program.

Listen to me accidentally cut off Jacob twice in a row! I was happy to join these guys doing what they do best and help talk about a book destined to eclipse Spider-Man. (still waiting, Larry)
We talk w/ Jason Farrell about John Targitt: a comics clone made of DNA of Frank Bullitt, Harry Callahan, & Paul Kersey (Bronson in Death Wish). He's an FBI agent who wages an all-out war on crime after his wife & daughter are caught in the crossfire of syndicate violence.

We talked w/ Jared from Swords & Scrolls about Larry Hama's origin for a different kind of 'barbarian.' Far from a #Conan clone, Wulf the Barbarian was a classy beginning to what should have been a long adventure, but, #AtlasSeaboard was not long for the publishing world.

Question for Mike Flood: With $450 million being allocated to Alligator Alcatraz, and ICE burning through $8.4 million a day to illegally detain people—How much does it cost for fascism? How much do the tax payers have to pay for a fascist country?

A key point in Fahrenheit 451 is that books were banned because they made people depressed and uncomfortable. The novel's protagonist, Montag, is taken into custody after he reads a poem that makes a woman cry because she realizes the emptiness of her life.

This is continued journalistic malpractice from the @startribune.com normalizing a violent white male suspect. He owned a private security company called Praetorian Guard, traveled overseas to preach against abortion and LGBTQ+ people, and attended a bible college that preaches "violent prayer."
Suspect showed few signs of political extremism before lawmaker shootings
Friends and associates say Vance Boelter, who was apprehended late Sunday and charged with murdering a state lawmaker and her husband, was mild-mannered and did not appear to be fixated on politics.

UnitedHealth secretly pressured nurses to change patients' records to include DNRs (Do Not Resuscitate) without their consent, so those patients would die instead of being saved with medical interventions that could cost UnitedHealth money.

This is murder.
