Notice how chilled everyone is here. There are still SUVs and Transporter vans parked up - but there also space for - and mutual respect between - everyone who's living in and visiting the area.
Why wouldn't you want something like this in every residential area?

Bollards & one-way systems stop through traffic. Play signs tell drivers kids are in the street. Paving, build-outs & planting slow cars. People add benches, hang out, share drinks. The street becomes an extension of home - a social space, not a shortcut. This is what neighbourhoods should feel like

I’d love to see some analysis done on averages speeds by weather condition.
My hunch is that people drive noticeably faster in wet weather - and wonder if it’s a subconscious “must get home before I get soaked” thing even though they’re in a waterproof box 🤷🏻♂️
