I don’t think we’ve got the Brexit people voted for. Our traders face a daily nightmare getting goods across the border.

Here’s one example of just why. Toby Ovens of Broughton Transport told us about the 26 stamps he needs on loads of forms. To move one trailer across the Channel…

Ukip have submitted a new logo and slogan to the Electoral Commission, swapping the £ pound sterling symbol for a cross, that looks very much like it is modelled on the Iron Cross used by Prussia & Germany 1871-1918 and Hitler's Nazi regime from 1933-45

@emilythornberry.bsky.social raises a wider question in the debate about Grok / X - that of the negative impact bot farms have on our democracy...

...and uses the example of 1300 bots supporting the Scottish Nationalists went down over the weekend as the internet was shut off in Iran...

He really can’t handle any challenge
More 'free speech' over at the Reform event. Farage jumps in - again - to answer a question on vaccines directed at Zahawi. Then Zahawi adds that "the question is stupid and does not deserve an answer".

Every week the evidence piles up that London is safer than it has been for decades. The far right lies are constantly exposed. The migration figures are down by well over 400k against last year. The Reform Councils are failing to deliver. I’m not sure there’s much left for them to campaign on.
