Well the NIH has cancelled the Women's Health Initiative, the largest study of women in history

It has been running continuously since 1991 and has provided massive key knowledge about diseases in women

Yes. Imagine if Harvard said
“We’ll keep our Boston campus, but because Trump Republicans want to make it impossible to have free thought in America, we are exploring a new campus in Toronto.”

It would be a power move that would put MAGA on their heels.

This. This is not a "Trump holds all the cards" scenario . If I were Harvard I would very publicly explore international campuses.
A whole-of-government attack on Harvard--now attacking Harvard's eligibility to host international students. Does Trump know that Harvard can create a campus basically wherever it wants outside the US?

They warned NY, Michigan, and Minnesota if the tariffs persist, Ontario will impose a 25% surcharge on electricity and may cut off the supply entirely.

1 in 5 child care workers is an immigrant. Trump’s deportations and raids have many terrified
Nine days after President Donald Trump signed executive orders intended to crack down on illegal immigration, Damaris Alvarado-Rodriguez closed a classroom at one of her child care centers in Philadelphia. Despite having green cards, the teachers in that classroom, which serves 1-year-olds, were too nervous to come to work. Since Trump took office, his officials have targeted Philadelphia and other so-called sanctuary cities that limit their cooperation on immigration enforcement. Immigration agents have been a constant presence in the neighborhoods that house Alvarado-Rodriguez’s three centers.
