I think it’s true we are all in crisis but in different ways and some is gender driven. I also believe we feel the climate crisis in every cell of our body and that is creating a crisis for us all at some level.

There is an argument that once certain dominoes have fallen it is correct for a person to abandon their country of origin to join the team to beat their fascist homeland as Einstein and others did. That time is distinctly not now. Now is the time to fight and #resist
I have said privately that while I don’t necessarily begrudge anybody who chooses to leave the US, but A. That is tremendously privileged and b. I do think we have to be very skeptical about giving them roles in the country once we defeat fascism simply because they didnt stand and fight

All of this is true enough as far as it goes. But even more problematic is the fact that when the U.S. Coast Guard interdicts suspect vessels, boarding and searching for drugs, a quarter of the time they find no contraband.
