A reminder to all Americans that the President's outrageous proclamation is NOT NORMAL and IS UNACCEPTABLE.
Truly vile behavior from this President, and we all have to call it out for what it is: dangerous and un-American rhetoric from a man who wants to be king.

I found Angel's Egg to be a very deliberately slow Art Film, lots of haunting night scenes, slow pans over ruined cityscapes, caverns, and landscapes of a post-apocalypse on an island nation with one major port city now abandoned. The film isn't meant to be taken literally; it's highly symbolic.

Glad to have finally watched Angel's Egg (1985) by Mamoru Oshii, though I can't say that the NYAV English Dub really adds very much to the film, since the dialogue is so minimal anyway. Just a marketing gimmick to double the number of screenings I think. But it sucked me in so I guess it worked.

I do sincerely wish John Fetterman good health & recovery but hope he also takes it as a sign he should resign from the Senate before the job kills him; he's no longer fit to serve.

Unfucking believable.
🚨 BREAKING: The Supreme Court has granted the Trump administration’s emergency appeal to temporarily block a lower court order requiring full SNAP food aid payments during the shutdown, allowing Trump to continue with partial payments instead.

ICE deported him anyways.

They literally put a man who was at death’s door on a plane to Costa Rica.

Doctors there found he had encephalopathy, rhabdomyolysis and the inability to eat on his own.

What happened to him in ICE custody to cause this?

He died a few weeks after deportation:

John Fetterman SUCKS SO BAD....GOD. He's the goddamn Benedict Arnold of the Democratic Party and should be expelled from its ranks....worse than Joe Manchin or Kristin Sinema. Hate that motherfucker so much now.

With sadness, switched my MLB app back to the Houston Astros as my favorite team and their logo as its icon on my phone.📱…it was fun being a temporary Blue Jays fan.

This is Ronald Reagan's full speech that Trump & his allies objected to. It's still a rebuke to Trump and stands as a stark contrast, showing what real Presidential leadership looks like. Thank you Government of Ontario for this blast from the past.

I loved this show growing up; I eventually bought the ADV Films box set where they did a proper English (re)dub that mirrored the original Japanese story, but I still haven't finished it.
