IMLS funds directly support Texpress, the Texas in-state library courier system for Interlibrary Loan. While we libraries also pay an annual subscription fee, idk what happens to the courier after this Dec. if the funds are still tied up in court. #libraries #FreedomToRead

Well, watch it rather. I stopped playing ⚾ baseball myself in Elementary school because I SUCKED at it. Afraid of the ball useless as a fielder; couldn't hit worth shit either. Just lucky to get walked because of a narrow strike zone because I hunched over at the plate on purpose.

Space Cowboys WON vs. Reno Aces. Theme was "anime night" and this was a stadium worker in Himiko Touga cosplay that Saturday night. Lots of J-Pop & J-Rock tunes in the pauses between innings and between top and bottom. Good stuff!

I would really love to buy one of these (the gold one, obviously) and put it on one of the reading tables in the Adult Services stacks of our library. Our patrons are usually actually pretty good with the noise level, this just pleases me aesthetically. #art #libraries
