When I say rtd2 needs the sauce, THIS is the kind of storytelling I'm thinking of
Dalek and Boom Town revisit villains who now relate to him as survivors from previous encounters. Seeing him at his most remorseful and remorseless, we never get another hard switch dinner slapstick or a delightfully torturous Doctor in conversational sit downs

The whole "Rose, Martha, and Donna are real people" argument just rotted a load of brains and warped the perception of what a real person is supposed to be, so much so that even those character didn't entire meet the standards. Great as she is, Donna does not feel like a person you meet every day.
