Do you think that I care for you so little that betraying me would make a difference?
If freakin' Kaidou won't misgender their trans kid then neither should you.

Fans, especially shippers, really need to stop taking social media accounts for TV shows so seriously. They are not run by the people who actually write and produce the shows, but specialist marketing teams whose sole job is to generate online hype and engagement.

Huh? Xena's final episode is widely hated by fans, B5 last season is a mess (the finale benefits from being shot the season before), and which Trek exactly? TOS was just cancelled, TNG had no arc to wrap up, DS9 disappointed some, VOY was an anticlimax, ENT a farce, and DISCO an obvious rush job.

This is sure to be a curious read since Jones' originals scripts were almost completely rewritten by an uncredited RTD.

New reading goal is to get through all of Alan Moore's Image works by the end of the month.

Really wouldn't even call this a retcon since Classic Who has many instances of the Doctor encountering godlike beings sharing names from classical mythology. RTD2 just embraces that aspect and doesn't try to give it a sci-fi explanation.

The Snowmen is such a gorgeous episode.

Not sure what part of this is funnier, the idea that nothing can be mediocre if it has action figures of that movie studios weren't interested in comics in the 90s. Besides Batman, the Rocketeer, Men in Black, Mask, Dick Tracy, TMNT, the Phantom, Shadow, Steel, Blade and bloody Spawn all got movies

None of this really disproves the theory. Actor availability would've only been an issue if Gibson had something lined up that clashed with S15 filming, but she didn't. And Boom was not set up for Belinda. Sethu was offered the role later because the producers liked her performance in that episode.

They really screwed up by not making the entire marketing campaign for Starfleet Academy just Holly Hunter sitting in the captain's chair.

The more I see Sherlock fans whine about being made fun of the more I wish Moffat and Gatiss had been meaner.

When it comes to the best creep in a Hitchcock movie, it's a tie between Robert Walker in Strangers on a Train and Joseph Cotten in Shadow of a Doubt.

It’s been quite disturbing to see some people, including MAJOR outlets, just willfully forget to include her in their headlines or make it out as if Dave is the only one with the title.

The co-president title gives you a hint!

Facts > SEO 👍
Lynwen Brennan, new co-president of Lucasfilm, has been with the company longer than Dave Filoni.

She started in 1999 at ILM, later became the president of ILM and helped solidify it as the gold standard in visual effects globally.

Let's celebrate her promotion with Dave 👏

The problem with Solo wasn't recasting the character, but thinking the character works as a lead, with a detailed backstory explaining everything about them, when he's essentially a snarky foil to all the other characters.

Guys, I really don’t think the alien monster played by Peter Kay sounding like Peter Kay is a sign of something nefarious.

I'm sure everyone is going to have completely calm and rational opinions about this.
Kathleen Kennedy is stepping down as Lucasfilm President after 14 years.

Lucasfilm CCO Dave Filoni and General Manager Lynwen Brennan will now take over and lead the company — and Star Wars and Indiana Jones with it — into the future.

I'm 195 episodes away from being all caught up with One Piece. New season starts in April so hopefully I'll be able to get through them all by then, assuming iPlayer adds the rest of the Egghead arc soon.

Another thing you should know about the Twin Cities, if you're not here, is that while the mayor and governor tell us to stay calm on TV, our council members and other local electeds are on the street patrolling and protecting neighbors, doing mutual aid, and otherwise serving the community.

Mad that some executives watched Kong: Skull Island and actually thought "What we really need is a show detailing the backstory of John Goodman's character". And the really crazy part is they were right.

The multiple Warringtons are clearly just to distract us all from Newcastle's annexation and relocation to Whitby so they can be closer to the North Sea green valley.
