Well, if more kids have to die of cancer, that’s just the price we have to pay to be sure that half-trillionaire and government leech Elon Musk doesn’t have to pay remotely his fair share of taxes.
I had mistakenly thought the Dem-controlled Senate was able to pass all the pediatric cancer provisions that the House GOP cut after Musk's tantrum. But only a small funding extension for an existing program ultimately passed. The more significant other provisions (first four items below) are dead.

Police in Alabama shot and killed a 16-year-old boy in his own home during a no-knock raid in the middle of the night.

Body camera footage allegedly shows Randall Adjessom raising his hands and backing away just before an officer opened fire.

RIP

Just read the response from Costco to shareholders requesting it back down from DEI. It was glorious. It begins "Our Board has considered this proposal and believes … an enterprise rooted in respect and inclusion is appropriate and necessary." and gets better. A happy investor #diversityandinclusion

Wikipedia is useful. Musk and other power-hungry, wealthy people want to enclose it to limit the free and useful information it provides. Donate to help keep it going.
Elon Musk does not want you to donate to Wikipedia, which is itself a good reason to donate, but the much better reason is that it's Wikipedia. Just donated again last night.

Last I looked plastic outweighed plankton in the oceans by about 17:1, according to this ↓ livestock outweighs wildlife by 13:1.

This can't go on.

Let's stop prioritizing the subsidized destruction of the West and start prioritizing wildlife safe public lands.

I’d recommend everyone regardless of medical risk bring a mask on your airplane journey, a disinfectant wipe to clean the seat you’re in and hand sanitizer.

It’s going to be on you alone to protect your health.

Warning signs are everywhere.

It's not just that it failed, it was based on doctored evidence, and they knew it. They put the health and lives of people like my mother at risk to turn a profit on a scam.
Vivek Ramaswamy bought an Alzheimer’s drug that failed clinical trials 4 times, rebranded it, took it public, then dumped his stock before it failed again. Vivek Ramaswamy is a con artist and a ghoul, and as such should fit right in in the Musk administration
